Years ago as a student nurse I often looked after ladies with ectopic pregnancy and it was especially heartbreaking for them because not only did they almost reach three months and suffer outrageous levels of pain, but they then lost an ovary and fallopian tube, knowing that pregnancy would be more difficult in future.
