Rumpus Machine - Mixed Songs - Live at Paraoa Brewing - 17-6-23 - Live Classic Rock & Originals Band

Rumpus Machine is a family rock band playing live classic rock music and original songs! We played a Saturday night at Paraoa Brewing on Whangaparaoa Peninsula and had a great time with a big sound system and stage. We played two big sets that included about 34 songs - of which we played 5 originals. Here's a random collection of videos from the phone of about 18 songs. At the end of the night the crowd kept asking for more so we dug out a few heavier ones which they seemed to like! Hopefully there's something in here for everyone :)

We are brothers and sisters from Auckland in New Zealand. We like to learn and perform new songs together and play modern music and classic rock songs. We also write our own original songs too. We like to play live if we can - but also enjoying sharing our music online.
We like to learn the new songs and polish them up as much as we can before we decide they’re ready to video and share. It’s gives us something to aim for and it’s also good to have for the future.
Ashley on drums and Hannah on the bass are twins and 12 years old. Matthew on guitar is 14 and Daniel on guitar and lead vocals is 15. Thanks for watching!

I still can't get over how good the quality of this is. It should have more views but maybe people don't realize how good it is. Another early morning watching the sun rise, waiting for the squirrels & Blue Jays to wake up to feed peanuts, headphones on listening, drinking coffee.

Hello, yes it’s on the cards for sure.. we first started learning Everlong when Taylor Hawkins died and Ashley has been slowly gaining the stamina to play the song.. it’s been kind of hanging around the edges of things because it’s hard but lately she’s been able to release the beast (as we call it lol) and get through it.. so yes it is on the menu :) along with about 10 other covers we have lined up.. just gotta get rid of germs and get on with it!! thanks

1) I was in a band with Alice In Chains' drummer Sean Kinney when he was 12/13. The Twin here on drums is even better than he was at that age. Rumpus Machine could be the next Metallica, if they want that.

…..first off, you know I think you guys are awesome, right?Second, ……and this is just a thought…..just an idea…….Ever consider a young prodigy keyboardist joining the band ??? The only reason I even mention this is that it could open up a complete catalogue of different songs. As you already know, organ and synthesizers were huge in the 70’s/80’s. Just an idea. I wanna see you guys break out and become huge and this is more of a suggestion and not so much as a critique. Interested to hear your reply on this. Again, you guys are pretty cool as you are though, too. 😎🤙🏽

Hello 👋 yes you’re right.. we have been talking a bit about this. We don’t want to add an extra person into the band but Daniel the lead singer has been playing around on the keyboard so we may do a song with keyboards when he’s ready.. thanks

I could just see you swinging the guitar around your back and hitting the keyboards lol. Also, Matthew is getting so good, amazingly good on lead that this could be a real smooth transition.
