It’s worth mentioning, slotting in the Two Fingers Talisman for a quick +5 was helpful for my Prisoner class. I did this in Raya lucaria bc I’d often need the magic resistance and couldn’t afford to equip a shield or run out of HP flasks.

This is a fantastic point and I'm a bit salty that I did not realize it sooner to cover it in the video. For certain buffs, it is completely viable to use the Talismans for +5 Faith, cast the spell, and unequip the Talisman. It is a bit tedious, but it is effective. Thank you for your comment.

I am starting to like faith in general, and have been using it as a secondary stat for three of my characters so far. Partially because of some of the incantations I like to use, but also for certain weapons I like even if used under specific conditions. And, yeah, heal is such a blessing to have for revenants.

I've tried Blessing of the Erdtree and for some reason I can't lay my hand on why I find Blessing's Boon to be "better" despite being worse outside of FP which isn't an issue for me. Weird, but how have you found Constitution to be for you compared to the others? Flame, Cleanse Me . . . 110% always on my builds, no questions asked. Maybe my favorite spell in the game.

@@nathreetimesnineequalstwen7172 I want to make sure that we are talking about Bestial Vitality, and not Constitution, since we are talking about HP Regen. Bestial Vitality is the most efficient healing tool in the game. It heals us 33HP per point of FP spent. Compare that to Blessing of the Erdtree (18HP per point of FP) and Blessing's Boon (24 HP per point of FP). I love the spell and run it in all of my builds. I think it's one of the most useful incantations in the game.

If you are fighting a boss, probably not going to be very good. But, if you are exploring, then the low cost regeneration will save a lot of flasks for when they matter.

flame cleanse me also gets rid of frostbite (but not the buildup) because it does a small amount of fire damage

Ι agree, even though i would go to 15 faith for flame grant me strength. Especially as a strength build which uses physical and fire, is a must. Also clawmark seal is a must

Agreed. On my Strength build, I run 17 Faith for Flame, Grant Me Strength and also Black Flame Blade. That said, for non-Strength build, 15 Faith might take too much from the other stats needed. That’s why I settled for 12 Faith being the most useful for most builds in general. Thank you for your comment!

I wish the game had a better variety of farming areas and respawnable boss type enemies instead of doing Ng+. Would make builds more fun to use if you focus on certain areas more often

Agreed. Though my favorite build is a faith build, I reccomend to my buddy some faith for the Flame Cleanse Me since he hates scarlet rot. He describes in our conversations how he hates all the debuffs that get on him and I just laugh it off with my faith build.

Making an Astrologer Duelist build, I had 1 spare point left over I could put someplace. I put it in Arcane, giving me 10, and that allows me to keep the Dragon Communion Seal in my offhand 2nd slot. Whenever I need to use a Faith spell up to 12 points, I just switch in the Two Fingers Talisman, cast, and swap back. Means I don't need to spend any extra points in endurance to balance out the weight of a seal (meaning I also don't need to get a Frenzied Flame Seal either), and it can permanently stay in my 2nd slot so I don't have to switch it in and out of my build along with the talisman whenever I want to cast a faith spell. I know your guide is about 12 faith only, but your thinking definitely put me on the road to figuring this one out for myself. Cheers!

I cannot deal with equipping the talisman, casting the incantation, and unequipping the talisman every time that I want to use a spell. I do not have it in me. That said, it is a good solution. Thank you for your comment.

@@FrownyGaming I find it is not so bad. Usually, this is just to cast Bestial Vitality, either Flame Cleanse me or Cure Poison, the occasional elemental resistance buff, or as you taught me, to kill Revenants. On a Samurai, I did keep it on to go crit hunting by using the Two Fingers Heirloom to give me 13 faith, both the Assassin's Cerulean and Crimson dagger talismans, which is added to with the Dagger Talisman, and using the Shadow Bait incantation. For humanoid mobs this gets you free crits as they attack the Shadow Bait, while your Cerulean Dagger pays the 15fp cost of Shadow Bait back, and you get to gain health, as well as taking out enemies. Works out nicely.

My first 2 playthroughs were strictly katana focused (1st run DEX/ INT, 2nd DEX/ARC). My 3rd was finally Faith so I could play with all those cool toys I couldn't play with my 2 first runs, and I will say a high faith build is the funnest playthru I've done.

Possibly worth mentioning also that at 12 Faith, you can Rune Arc up to 17 with Godricks great rune equipped. This gains access to all the basic dragon breath incantations, as well as Dragon Claw. Maybe some others I haven't noticed too!

I know that is kind of late, but flame cleanse me also removes frost build up, cause you do to your self a little bit of fire damage in order to remove the status effects

It took me a while to remember this and start adding it to my video explanations. That said, it is important to clarify something: Flame, Grant Me Strength removes the Frostbite EFFECT, not the BUILD-UP. If you already suffered Frostbite, it will clean it. If you only have some of the status bar filled up, it won’t do anything. Thank you for your comment.

I like bumping it up to 15 for flame grant me strength which is just an insane damage buff (and for rotten breath if i'm leveling arcane anyway) or even to 16 to be able to use flame of frenzy with a seal that scales with my primary stat (like clawmark seal on a strength build, dragon communion seal on an arcane build). But yeah, 12 is the bare minimum to not hate your life and you can always respec later at meta level if you're sure you don't want to be using any incants in PVP (tho imo they're super worth it for versatility on any str/dex/arc build that doesn't already use int).

I don't think that going to 16 FTH for Flame of Frenzy is worth it. That said, 15 FTH for dragon communion incantations and Flame, Grant Me Strength is also an incredibly valuable stopping point. The utility we get from these is certainly worth an additional 3 points. Thank you for your comment.

12 faith plus 2 fingers talisman is 17 faith. With the 12 you can Dragon rot breath. With the +5 = 17 talisman you can Ezykes rot breath with a minimal faith investment. First run for me, chose wretch for the survival challenge. +2 on faith was a welcome addition on my Int build for flame status heal and experimenting with Scarlet rot.

I did not forget. What happened is that I decided to take a short break from Elden Ring content so that I could play God of War Ragnarok. It was supposed to be just a few weeks, but then I got a really good employment opportunity that included some time sensitive work. Bloodflame Blade also requires Arcane, which means that not all classes will be able to immediately use it. It would require an additional skill point investment. In the video, I only go over spells that requires just 12 Faith. No other stats. Thank you for your comment.

The Clawmark Seal does not make Incantations Scale with Strength, per se. Instead, it is a hybrid catalyst that has Scaling in both Strength and Faith. You need both Stats, but Strength is a great help. Still, even with this Seal, you need the right amount of Faith to meet the requirements of each Incantation. Thank you for your comment.

I did not. Bloodflame Blade has a requirement of 12 Faith AND 10 Arcane. As a result, there are multiple classes that require additional investment to use it. Since the video is about incantations that can be used with JUST 12 Faith, and not other Stats, Bloodflame Blade is beyond the scope and not applicable. Thank you for your comment.

Items are quite limiting. The ones that regen HP force you to stay in one place. The non-physical damage resistance livers are much weaker are force you to craft them. And none of them offer a direct counter to Revenants. Boluses are cool though. Annoying to craft, but cool. And Crab Meat is top tier. Thank you for your comment.
