Origin was called the polecat offense. It was created for qbs that lacked strength and size, but had mobility. The read passing schemes evolved over time. Still revolutionary for the game.

In an undercenter run and shoot that is how the footwork is supose to be.. You dont need a set drop back, The routes can be turn into anything. With set dropbacks you would just be setting your QB up for failure...

Actually Jim Kelly ran the "K-Gun" offense with the Bills, a variation of the run and shoot. Since it was a shotgun formation offense, the roll out concept was eliminated. In the new versions of run and shoot, which are in shotgun, you don't see this wierd shit anymore (thanks to June Jones), but back in the Mouse Davis days, this was a staple of the offense.

Eli Manning used this offense while Kevin Gilbride was his offensive co-ordinator.Gilbride was the off.co-ordinator with Moon in Houston.

What you are referring to are the helmet to helmet shots that are ILLEGAL in football. Regular form tackles are fun to watch. I played football from the time I was 13 all the way through high school. Football helped keep me FROM drugs, alcohol and gangs. There are over 100 gangs in my city and I had plenty of run ins with them. Football might be the one thing that kept me from joining one because it gave me something positive to devote my time to.

People drink beer during basketball games too. And baseball games, and tennis matches and soccer games and through all five seasons of Sanford and Son, and pretty much every other occasion.

@cindybin2001 as for your thoughts on football. Football is a proven way to give boys and men some structure to their lives and discipline. It's a full contact sport that's also a form of entertainment, ma'am. I'm sorry that you feel a particular way about the game but that's life.

Cindy, Nobody is taken issue with you looking at their profile. The problem comes from when you see make judgment of that person from the videos they like on their profile. I'm not sure if you're looking for a reason for why men like football or if you're looking for a arguement. I personally think its the latter. I wont feed into your hate for the game, ma'am.

@cindybin2001 ma'am, with all due respect. I don't know you and you don't know me. I think it's rude of you to come into the comments of my video and pass judgement on me. It's one thing to have your opinion on football, that was weirdly voiced in the comment section of a random video, but it's another to search my likes or playlist and past judgement on me because of that. Last I checked this was a free country and I have the freedom to like any lude, sexual video that I want to.

There seems to be no pass rush at all. I don't understand why they wouldn't have a blitz-zone package set up for this kind of offense, instead of seemingly playing man and cover 2-3

what does your husband do then sit at home knitting? I thought you'd like men doing sports instead of drinking and smoking weed. But no you're against everything fun. Football is a sport like boxing and it teaches you discipline. Yes it's rough but it's a contact sport. I personally think boxing should be taught in schools.

Keontez quiet as it's kept Dallas used this pass happy offense in the '70s under Staubach and Landry if they were behind in the 4th quarter of any game they played in.

It worked in the NFL for a while. But very few coaches run this offense at any level anymore.

+TheFastStacker19 Jim Kelly tried to get his ex-coach Mary Levy to install this offense bit he refused and Warren Moon rode this offense to Canton.Quiet as its kept Dallas used this offense in the 70s before it was popular.

Dwight Love 1) The leverage played by the CB's LB's or the Safeties. 2) The seam reads by the Slotbacks. 3) Pass protection and proper QB dropsteps.

If you're talking first big step. That's the offense. If you're talking anything after then idk what you're watching. That's better footwork than half the guys in the NFL and college right now working out of the spread

And M dude cant do a 5 step drop to save his life and he only looks at one side of the field
@andm9766
@andm9766 8 жыл бұрын
+Blackie Robinson that's the offense lol. He never tried to do a straight 5 step drop. That offense is a lot of rolls. Any QB that plays in that offense does that and most of his passes, he had his feet in a good position to throw except one when he was rushed and it was still a good pass. You could see how he shifts his body on throws. Don't know who the QB is but he does have good footwork. And as for reading half the field. Every QB does that on rollout plays. The offense is getting guys open. The beginning he throws the quick read. Toward the end he has a one two read and his the open man quick. Cmon man know what you're watching lol
@andm9766
@andm9766 8 жыл бұрын
+Blackie Robinson those drop backs are actually harder to learn than a typical one cause you could tell it looks a little unnatural but it's all about the timing. If he mastered that, he could master a normal 5 step drop. That's all
