Remember in reality Baal was "real" as Paul said sacrifices to idols is sacrifices to demons. The princess of hell are behind the idols, that's why they have some power. Like the magicians of Egypt that mimiced some of Moses's miracles Ever since Hams grandson Nimrod there has been an occult of Satan worshipers practicing dark magic. And the signature of Satan (who loves to copy and mock God's plan), is also a sacrifice..of blood.... especially children, as with the idol of moloch in Israel's day. Why do you think American government has an obsession with abortion....the blood sacrifice to Satan who grants power. Why did Baal not answer in Kings18? Because Satan cannot stand where the presence of God is. Take authority of the serpent and step on his head when you stand and call upon the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
