Two of the bats holding Nitro crates reacted to me and dropped them. You can kinda hear their yelp if you turn up the volume. I didn't realize that until you just asked. So if that doesn't happen for you, subtract 2 crates from your comparison and we'll be even :)

I have 213 boxes just like the video at the start of the end. No green boxes hit on the way, and got 246 boxes at the end, but miss 1 box every time.

The exactly same thing happens to me. I realized is in between the end of the bonus and the platform where you access the hidden gem. I’m about to give up lol 😮‍💨

Haha I was part of that generation :D I actually have guides for the remastered versions from 2017. Crash 2 is my favorite of the original trilogy. Crash 3 had some incredible level design though. Loved the variety.

It's a little unclear, honestly. I think the pigs that were holding the nitro crates a few seconds before that may have dropped them.

I have a problem immediately I'm done with the bonus round I have 88 right? Then I break those two boxes in front and I have 90 but then when you get on the ropes I suddenly see that you have 92 how does it make sense? Where did those two boxes come from

Two bats just past the bonus dropped their nitro crates. I didn't find this out until yesterday when someone asked the same question.

There is definitely some glitch in this level i had to play it 3 times i always ended up with one missing crate but somehow 3rd attempt and it gave it to me -_- thanks for ur videos man they really help!!

You say you don’t know how anyone is supposed to know the crates are there at the beginning right? How did you find them?

I guess the fact that you can see the two at the very bottom is supposed to be a hint to inspect the rest of the stairs. I found it that way.

There are several crates just after the food truck segment that look like they'd explode with the TNTs, but they don't. You have to break those manually.

These guides r pathetic ! I’ve tried each and every one of em and I still die. I’ve died over 50 times on each level it’s a joke. It’s not the same watching someone else’s videos it’s different when ur playing it urself ur not as good as that the person who’s done the guides
