There really needs to be more films like this about boys/men with eating disorders because there are men out there struggling with this too

As a boy on the track team with an eating disorder this was very relatable. Especially when he was running with them at first then he began to slow down, I've had a race where I've done that and fainted afterwards

If he has a ed and he really wanted to hide it he would take his lunch and throw it away at school. He also would kindly tell his mom he had already eaten and didn't want a piece of cake. I don't mean to sound rude but that's what people with ed's do, they hide it. We become pros at it.

I’m a male anorexic and this made me feel more okay with myself. I always thought I was in the wrong for being a male with an eating disorder because I never met or saw any male with an eating disorder. I thought an eating disorder made me “less of a man” and it pissed me off. Thank you to this short film for making me accept myself a little bit more.

It's disgusting how society fails to recognize some people about this matter. This short film was amazing on so many different levels

The same thing happened to me. My coach pushed me too far and well...i didn't pass out from not eating (it was a relapse too)...but i got a really bad injury which left me out of running for the rest of the school year. My family still doesn't know why I got injured whoops.

aww this is sad how eating disorders can take away our sense of reality and happiness. thank you for this film. I connected to it on so many levels and I know many boys who struggle with eating disorders. because of this, I'm super happy about the representation :)

My greatest fear as a parent was drug addiction and anorexia because you are not only fighting the disease, but your own child while he sabotages your efforts to save him. Its got to be absolute hell.

I hate how this is like the only male eating disorder film.

When i was younger one of my family members would constantly tell me im fat either my thighs or my face and they would always say the clothing i wore made me look even more fat years later i got an ED i still have it and it hurts not physically but emotionally. Sometimes even one thing someone says can affect someone for their entire life. Also im still really young and trying to hide it. I dont know why i wrote this it just felt like a safe space. :)

Insecurities, perfectionism, bullying. So many things that can cause anorexia. I have multiple times tried skipping meals to lose weight and even made myself throw up once. It wasn’t just because of insecurities tho. I have been depressed for almost two years and I just want it to stop for a second
