I believe what many people are trying to point out is how ridiculous many of the messages they were trying to give, were in this movie. For example, the whole thing Ethan even said ( What you used for your comment.) does not even give any room for debate. It's not even factual, intelligent or thought provoking at all. It just takes a funny low road saying ANYONE who does not agree is just angry. As if all other opinion's don't matter because a difference of a opinion is only provoked by anger. That don't even make sense. lol You can think or feel different about something without being angry. Most men and women who watched this movie are not triggered, angry or insulted. Most are just laughing at how ridiculously low a movement will go to try to push something that is not even true. Even ruining what could of been a good movie all in the name of misandry. It's funny. lol

People who did not understand the references: this is feminism, gender politics, wokeness, blah, blah, blah. The real references: the dogs, the hunt, the legendary sexual predator. It is simply a modern version of Artemis hunting Actaeon (greek myth)

I don't think the movie achieved what it set out when I, a woman, found Ethan to be far more interesting, so much so that I was rooting for him. The original trailer seen in theaters also presented a much better story that I actually wanted to see. Cherie was simply going out with a guy she got matched with online, but the movie went into extensive reshoots and script rewrites, likely to rework the material to fit the #MeToo message that was only presented in the recent trailers and inevitable movie. I have a feeling the original version would have been more satisfying.

The moment the woman said that Adam came from Eve's rib as opposed to the other way around I had to turn it off. I was already hating it up to that point but that was the final straw that got me to turn it off. I was curious about who the villain was but once you contradict the Bible is the moment that you completely lose me. That's why I never watch movies that are supposedly based on the Bible. Hollywood loves to take their liberties with that kind of stuff. It was way too much feminism in it. Then they had to make a political statement by calling the villain a "Proud Boy". Really??? And for those who are sleep will say anything, and later regret it in this existance and the next. I understand what you meant by your explanation in the video, but you sounded whiny, slightly racist, sexist yourself and prejudice abt it as they expressed it in the movie as so called women empowerment, so to speak. And you and these commenters are THAT angry abt a film? Says a lot abt where your life choices are taking you in your next life of judgement and turmoil. And alone with cat's? This movie felt like a good movie for quite a while for me. About half way through, I could feel the feminist agenda creeping in there, which I shrugged at and though, "yeah sure fine." I have a high threshold for all messages people want to shoehorn into their work. But as it went on, that voice got louder and louder and started trampling over the story and the women-are-awesome-men-are-shit message was shouting itself into being the only present thing noticeable, then it just fell completely apart as it went absurd and all tension was deflated. I suspect that all the parts for a good film were recorded and somewhere in post production and possibly reshoots it got turned into something else. The movie had good bones to it, but my god what a tire fire it turned into.

The film lost all credibility for me after she was arrested. Cant believe i did not turn it off then and there. No, scratch that. The first part was where the pepper spray carying strong female gave the spray to her and said "he's still a man". I believe its always smart for a woman to carry one . But to generelize my gender male population in that way is toxic femininity at its strongest. This was really bad over the top propaganda and i lost a bit of faith in humanity if there are females out there that really holds this point of view.

The synopsis on Amazon Prime lists the main protagonist as a single mom and this made me suspect it would show men in a terrible light and women as super strong virtuous heroes or something of that ilk. Yes just the mention of her being a single mom. I'm raising 3 sons and this seems harmful to me. I try to instruct my sons to act on the character, virtue, and actions of others with specific care to gender because different genders tend to present harm in different ways. This just seems to hold a very sharp distain toward males in general.
