Great stuff. I've run small sections of it and have emailed Cornwall Council and sustrans to ask about a multi use path on the old branchline. What a wonderful thing it would be for the whole area. Apparently kerrier distinct Council did a feasibility study on converting it but nothing came of it. I'd love to see it as a multi use path,think of the economic boost for places along the whole stretch. Wonder if it could ever happen🤞🏾

Yeah it would be so good, and would definitely bring a lot to the towns in between. We mentioned it to the Helston Railway Preservation Society when we passed them at the part of the line that they have re-claimed for their tourist train and they said that they're in negotiation to buy a further couple of miles over the Lowertown viaduct and towards Helston and they don't think a recreational path would be possible as its not wide enough for that and their train. But you never know, i could send this video to Sustrans and see what they come back with.

More benefit to the communities if the line was restored. There could be a cycle path / footpath along the side of a railway.

There's hope for the southern end of the Helston branch as track is being relaid. A pity the line was closed in the first place. The Hayle Railway's Angarrack incline looks to be in need of some serious tlc. A feature in the landscape that is difficult to even locate these days nevermind access.

We need an action group to make this happen. First step get Kerriers feasibility study.
