Was obsessed with this movie as a kid and rented it on VHS all the time. It took what seemed like forever but finally own a copy. Awesome film. Gene Simmons plays such an awesome villain too 🤖 🕷️

This is one of the top 5 movies, that probably most influenced me when I was a kid. I remember my father had a Toshiba Color TV and a Betamax player (both things almost absolutely no one had in Cuba back then, and the Video players were illegal) I remember watching this movie about 4-5 years old and worrying so much about this tech, it kind of haunted me in dreams. Like Alien did.

@@ErnestoEduardoDobarganes I must admit it really bothered me as a kid as well. I watched horror from a young age, so I ended more intrigued than scared from it. Except for the 🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️ and the heat following bullets

So did I years ago, recorded off the TV. Watched it for the first time in years yesterday. It was ok, but didn't seem as good as I thought it was back then. Watched Blue Thunder the previous night, That movie has definitely aged a lot better.

@Bungle2010 I saw Blue Thunder when I was 8 in its initial theatrical release, and I still love it today. The acting, plotting, the chase scenes, the score...fantastic. One of the most perfect movies ever made.

The Detonics Speedmaster used by Tom Selleck was also used in T2 by Linda Hamilton who plays Sarah Connor...and it was asked to be custom made for Selleck as he was friends with the owner of Detonics

Nah man the first drone Prototype was from 1916 by Archibald low. In 1917 the first Real Drone was made by Max Boucher. But only for the Military.

What an underrated film. Maybe at the time it came out it was too implausible? But I think it is a great film and I always like Tom Selleck.

what the heck does this have to do with Kirstie Alley??? there was no mention of her name in this trailer for some B- movie??? She was on Cheers, she died , as we all eventually do, it's sad I guess but what's the deal?

This was definitely a fun 80s film that made the rounds on HBO for years. Hasn’t really aged too well though, some of those robots were ridiculously bad, even for that time period. They must’ve had a very limited budget. Still a fun movie though.
