If I'd have known about that when I had my truck camper I would have purchased and installed, great idea for a product.

What steps do you take to protect your camper from theft if you go off for the day......trailers have wheel locks and hitch locks etc. What can be done for truck campers?
@stuckcamping Жыл бұрын
Just have to be careful what your drilling into. Most campers the water tank is right behind the front wall.

Great option for stability on your camper. I don’t foresee taking my camper off of my truck but if we did I would definitely get one of these. Where did you get the Lance hat?👍🇨🇦

Great video.. we bought the stable camper setup and what a live/ truck camper changer.. the company is actually really awesome, I was putting mine on and the owner actually faced timed me on the setup, I was like wow that’s customer service… I do think we need some of the extensions for the sides, those look new, might have to see if they sell them . But overall great product and great video you put out.

Great video! Thanks for posting it. We bought an 1172 2 weeks ago and we are still learning. At 5:22 I saw what looks like a jack extension. Do I need that? What is it for?
@RunawayRoses Жыл бұрын
We were using jack leg extensions because we had the camper on our flatbed Ram truck which the bed height is 6" taller than a pickup bed. So I used the legs to make up the difference so when I took the camper off the legs wouldn't have to extend to almost their max length. Good question. Safe travels and thanks for watching!

U guys do a great job o vids . I have a question that no one seems to ask.its about the slide outs. Are they trouble free, how long can u expect the track and motor to last,what about the seal around the slide do they work well with both wind and dirt.what are your thoughts long term use. Are u happy with them??
@RunawayRoses Жыл бұрын
Hi Garry, I couldn't say how long the slide out motors will last but we haven't had any trouble with them. I can say slide toppers are a must for me though. Thanks for watching.

Will the front bracket adapter interfere with my torklift fastguns.
@RunawayRoses Жыл бұрын
The drop-down bracket is only on the rear tiedown mounts and none of them interfere with the fastguns. On the rear mounts the fastguns hook to the drop-down bracket. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video, i've been wondering about this process for a while. Just picked up my 1172 in November, been looking into this from Stable camper along w their cabinets for a flatbed. On your flatbed, you built out a "frame" w pressure treated in the front to hold spare tire, did you do something specific to attach that wood frame to the headache wrack?
@RunawayRoses Жыл бұрын
Hi Ryan, I didn't attach the wood frame bumper to the flatbed directly. What I did was built it around the spare tire so the spare tire holds it in place. The spare tire is attached to the headache rack. That way if I want to remove it all I can pretty easily. Thanks for watching!

@@RunawayRoses Awesome, thank you for the reply. Really appreciate the videos, esp latest ones w Flatbed. Thats my next step.

Is there a reason you didn’t put this on your last Bigfoot camper?
@bob_frazier Жыл бұрын
Stan, I can't speak for Todd but I would not use this on my Bigfoot 10.6 for two reasons. One, the jacks are not intended to carry the load long term. That's right from the manual. Two, the bottom is supposed to be fully supported, as in with a sheet of plywood because the tanks are basically hanging under there otherwise. So I use two sawhorses with a plywood and the jacks just barely touching down.
@buzzuti Жыл бұрын
I do not believe they make them for the Bigfoots.
@RunawayRoses Жыл бұрын
Stablecamper doesn't make a system for the Bigfoot campers. They could I'm sure but they like to get the approval from the manufacturers first from my understanding. Thanks for watching!

Campground? Its a concrete city for tiny homes. If it isnt dirt,sand,a fire pit made from rocks gathered from a 200ft radius and a forest of trees, it's not a Campground .
