Paladins should get a "holy" windfury aura. (As a book not rune) Alot of these runs are just gapfiller runes I feel whilst you're levelling.

I've said since phase 1 that paladins should of gotten the windfury alternative, it only makes sense as paladins are the opposite class to shamans and have auras which perfectly suit it

Btw just a small note for druids skull bash used to be a leg rune and for p1/p2 pvp was actually pretty good for feral since u were giving up savage roar for a charge/interupt in cat so u dont have to bear swap to gap close; but when they moved lacerate off gloves to legs in p3 they moved skull bask to gloves making it useless

If you main retri ,why didnt u mention Divine Storm on Chest? Its completely forgoten and yet ,could be tuned to work like in wotlk with that set bonus that refreshs its CD. Could bring retri back on track,improve dps,help on aoe, heal the team abit and be awesome in pvp

you should of brought up how 2 of the runes on pally belt are never used, 17% hit will be nice for lvl 63 mobs later i guess, but why would you give that up over hundreds of spellpower?

Yeah I mean there's more underused and useless runes for the paladin than useful ones, that's pretty much why I said on the video that I'll probably make an entire video on the paladin alone because I didn't want this video to be like an hour long

Horn of Lordaeron is very good rune. It's much better than BoM. Why? Horn gives AP, crit, dodge, armor, horn is undispellable. The only problem, in my opinion, is horn's duration.

Only change Horn needs is increased up time, when fully raid buffed Horn gives 53str and 53agi, while imp might gives 138AP, so it's 32AP vs 53agi so horn is a lot better then even imp might. Paladin tanks should be using it as SoR outperforms SoM anyway. Some of the runes that should get a rework that paladins have is Aegis, Infusion of Light and as you mentioned Divine Sacrifice

One thing about horn to note is that we only just missed out on a spell rank of blessing of might (Next rank being at lev.52) and as runes scale with level, horn currently is pretty powerful in comparison but only temporarily due to the spell rank issue. I 100% agree that other runes also need a rework and many probably just making baseline, Paladin in my opinion has the most scuffed line up of runes for sure but I didn't want half the video to be about just paladin!

You're right and your wrong about the seals SoM bring mana back which is too important right now, which means if I try to go SoR my healer is going to flame 100% . And the 2 min duration on horn is just annoying

The Shamans rune Fire nova is king in AoE tho. Since all the threat from its AoE converts to the shaman, as a tank myself and i run dungeons i rather use it over mealstrom. Then in singel targets fights i swap due to mealstrom is stronger those time

Sod was a huge let down. They just copy pasta the runes from wrath, and 90% of them are trash and you're still stuck to 1 spec for all classes. Rogue tank was the one thing I wanted to play, but you were stuck with mutilate dags, lvl 60 sword spec might be good with thunderfury, but I am tired of being stuck to one spec, blizz just doesn't balance unless stuff is overwhelmingly busted. Also they just love to throw hasmterwheel grinding.

Imo they should reduce the number of runes by combining runes, make some baseline and rebalance the slots they attach to, no one wants to play and alt and have to grind out 30 runes next phase, it's a chore.

I like the idea of combining some and they have said they will make some baseline, I definitely agree a lot need to be moved around. I do however think there should still be a large amount to chose from but 100% they should make it extremely easy to get for alts. Maybe if you've found a chest rune on your main for example it unlocks the corresponding chest rune on all your alts somehow etc?

Rogue is full of dead runs. Im surprised that you didn't mention the fact that they decided to put 5 runes on the same slot as Mutilate....

For sure rogue has many more dead runes too, I was going to hit some on the mutilate slot but wanted to target more on an aoe angle as I feel rogues for sure should of got fan of knives. Sadly I didn't want the video to be 1 hour long so only kept it to a few per class! Though which rogue runes would you completely overhaul?

@@DeeceTV shadow strike lol it was a terrible shadow step stand in in p1 and with shadow step being in the game it has no use now and main gauche supposed to be a tank rune but u have to give up saberslash/mutilate for a 30second cd and 15% avoidance

@geofft7664 I mean it was fun in phase 1 when Saber Muti and Backstab were all pretty close in power, but after muti buffs, there aren't any situations where mutilate isn't strictly better. I just think it's strange that they didn't split the runes slots up evenly. 4 leg and 4 gloves runes, instead of 3 and 5. Maybe make shadow strike or shiv a leg rune.

@venumus1 I'd like to see Slaughter from the shadows be reworked. Backstab rogue just doesn't have a place, and deadly brew is just too strong to give up. I do agree with the AoE. If they don't want to give us FoK just make Shuriken actually do damage.

The problem with warrior runes is your literally just playing vanillia warrior with later xpac talent tree passives. It doesnt fit in the eco system of sod, personally i would liked to have more cd based runes that gave warrior agency alone instead of relying on heal and windfury bots. On top of the fact singleminded fury is dog shit when compared to dw spec of hunters. But sod is very clearly warriors were king in vanillia so we need to keep them "weak" in sod

@@DeeceTV personally I'd like more 3-5 min cds so we could be more rogue like in pvp in being able to use cds to overcome the solo pvp weaknesses. Give us a 5min cc immunity with leech so we can have a 10 second window of being stuck to you and be able to self heal a little give a rage cost reduction by 50% cd, let us play 2h/dw tank with devastate but the problem with warriors is when it hits endgame and they are geared they will make anyone not in bis not want to play the game regardless of lack luster runes

I specifically stated warriors are in the state they are where everyone else gets to have a different experience in vanilla while warrior gets to play vanilla with more rage abilities to try to stuff into your rage management. They are a victim of there own dominance in vanilla and the insane scaling they get with gear because they have an unlimited resource if you have enough gear

I'm all for giving warriors some nice solo play options! To counterbalance it so they aren't too strong in every single area of play maybe give some drawbacks when using some of the solo play runes that give mobility/self-healing, something similar to the orc racial where instead of gaining AP and reduced healing, you instead gain crazy healing regen but reduced damage for a short period, not sure, just some thoughts!

Druids should never have gotten windfury. It should have been given to paladin. Would solve a bunch of issues.
