So glad to see you back and kicking! University doesn't really let me play any game at all, but RS proper is the one game I really go back to. I've never been interested in OSRS, though, so I love watching your comparisons just to catch up. Anyway, I don't like the experience of playing anything on Mobile, really, but I do quite often have RuneScape open on my phone doing some mindless grind whilst doing serious stuff on the PC. Really worth it, for that. Whenever I'm going for something more immersive, however, I make sure to always play on the PC.

As someone who tested RS3 mobile out on my (Android) phone before my device was removed from compatibility (I vastly prefer playing PC), had to agree with most everything you said, I know some people can do crazy bossing feats on mobile, but I never trusted anything more than skilling while I had access.

For me the existance of the mobile client(s) is the sole reason i gave runescape (both os and 3) a try. I've been looking for a good mobile game for so long. An actual good game on mobile. Preferably an mmo. And this is probably the best mobile mmo that exists. Because it's not a mobile mmo, but just one that has a mobile client. I agree that osrs is a little easier to deal with on mobile. But for things like leveling crafting and gathering; it's great. I don't think i'd do anything risky like going into a more dangerous area on my phone though. My main issue is the overworld map. I can't tick and untick stuff on the side. It's way too tiny. And if i scroll through it, the map starts scrolling too (which i think is a bug?). It's a bit of a pain. So for me, mobile is where I do the small tasks. The pc is where the adventure is at.

Exactly! I pretty much only do farm runs and safe skilling on mobile, but it’s great! I can just jump into RS3 while I’m on the couch while I watch TV!

I come back to RS3 every so often. I've only played mobile while watching something with my family, of which I ended up just always AFK Mining. I tried fishing but it just wasn't very easy to get to the sharks that way. I haven't tried it in over a year however.

If you think it looks good now, the mobile settings you showed in this video are near minimum. The only things not minimum are render distance, frame rate, and textures. You can have almost the same graphics as PC minus some render distance and volumetric lighting I think are the only things omitted.

@@marcusisahooper Don't be too disappointed if you can't go much higher, the game is pretty taxing on high end phones. Turn shadows on low, and water on medium at least though those 2 settings help a lot and aren't too taxing

I mentioned my Twitch channel in the new episode, but I hadn’t gone live on it yet! I wanted to give myself some time to get a few live streams under my belt! Also I figured it would give me more time to promote it and get more people to show up to the premiere! I was worried if I just randomly premiered it, no one would be there to chat!

The mobile failed to attract new players, sadly the only people using it are regular players doing afk money or a few ones doing some bosses.

@@marcusisahooper The release date of mobile seemed so stop-start in the beginning, I think a lot of people were initially hyped for release only to be told it's coming soon, then Covid came and it got delayed then people gave up on it and forgot about it so they need to let people know that the mobile version exists! more advertising is needed I think...I've been waiting for it for ages not knowing that it's been out for over a year! now I just need to find a tablet which is compatible, any suggestions? preferably Android cheers!
