About the game:
Brighter Shores is an all new adventure from award winning MMORPG designer Andrew Gower. It is an enchanting point-and-click style RPG with hundreds of hours of gameplay, set in a land of magic and mysteries, with a huge number of professions to try, and something new to find around every corner.
You will discover powerful magic sources and become one of the legendary classes of old: Cryoknight, Guardian or Hammermage. Which is fortunate, because something is corrupting the deepest reaches of the nearby Hopeforest, and only through the strength of your new-found powers will you be able to deal with it.

Kind of funny that he basically released Blast Mining from OSRS. It seems like it may have the same overall issue though, in that each explosive takes up an inventory space leading to a lot of banking as a full inventory can be used in minutes. OSRS actually buffed this method a few weeks ago despite it being around for about 8 years with a bank every several tiles, 100k+ exp hour, and 1M gp per hour and people still don't do it over other methods. This is mostly due to how click intensive the premise of the concept is to the point people rather earn half the gp and exp for more afk methods. One way Brighter Shores may fix this is by having unique ores only from blast mining, as in OSRS 0 unique anything is earned from the activity. Could be improved even further if some ore types are exclusive only to blast mining with no monster nor other mining methods of obtaining it. The other issue is any time a skilling method is tied to a consumable, the end result needs to be more valuable than the consumable. There is a good chance the price of explosives will go down to their 'sell to shop' with merchant skill price unless the ore has an absurdly high base value when fully processed.

@@AdmissionGaming I think at launch they'll see over 100k, but after a few days and people seeing how little there is to do so far, it'll dwindle down to about 20k. But I wouldn't say the launch numbers will be their best.

Thank you for keeping us updated! I don't mind the graphics (it looks fine); I believe the gameplay will be a lot of fun with plenty of clever ways to explore and find items and such. That's much more important than the graphics. Besides, it's not the kind of game that needs stunning graphics, at all.
