Couple of things: Jas was the most powerful of five original elder gods: The other four were Ful, Wen, Bik, and Mah. They traditionally get “reborn” from their eggs and set out to tear and reform the universe for their future offsprings. Jas didn’t “craft” the Stone of Jas- it was her egg that she was forced to sacrifice because Xau-Tak corrupted Mah’s egg, and Mah hatched out warped and initially stillborn, forcing the others to find a way to make up for Mah’s loss.

@@CharlieScape I don't think everything has an explanation either, like who / what are these entities who helped create worlds with the elder gods, as well as the shadow leviathan who was able to (what seems like) easily kill the strongest elder god. 3 revisions previous, there were 6 elder gods. Vos disappeared and is only mentioned rarely in lore but presumably was lost in the revision before Frenskae. Mah was corrupted by blackstone during the Freneskae revision leading to the creation of Zaros and Seren. We fed Jas to a Shadow Leviathan in the failed Gielinor revision leaving 3 Elder gods in the half cooked Seren forced Iaia revision. I believe that within the shadow realm/Erebus there exists an opposing pantheon of elder gods. Xautak being one. The Mwanu (cave horrors, sea horrors, jungle horrors) worship a group of deities including one that is Xautak. I believe there is a multiversial plan from the shadow realm spanning multiple or many revisions to cause a series of events where there would be no elder gods to defend their greatest creation yet and leaving it free to be theirs.

@@CharlieScape I believe it was from a dialogue/book from Fate of the Gods? Not that sure tbh. Mah was born stillborn because there wasnt enough anima for her to hatch properly. There could have been dozens of Elder Gods over the eons that occasionally died after Revisions.
