She was unique and a great talent with huge bundles of energy. yes, much underestimated and largely forgotten. but she sure had some wonderfully electric dance scenes with the great Donald O'Connor ! thank you for this fine tribute.

met her in hawaii, and bumped into her again in vegas in 1982, she remembered me from hawaii and had several lunches with her. she was a truly loving person to know.

william webster How lucky you were to have met her! I'm only just discovering this bundle of talent (underrated and underestimated as the strapline to this video says). It's nice to hear she was the kind of person you;d hope she would be. IMDB describes her as "No glamor girl, Peggy had a very plaintive face, prominent nose and gangly figure", but I think she was lovely!
