Great video Charley, interesting info on the Detroit motor, should pull the truck well being loaded down, man I would work for you any day, I'm up in Western Maryland, those reclaimers do wonders with wet nasty soils, thanks for sharing, keep up the awesome work, no rest for the wicked, good you got a couple days off, look forward to seeing the next video

The Company I used to work for did that same thing with Soil Mixing Cement. He has 4 of those machines that mixes it . I didnt realize how many people do that today. That was the first time I was around it. It does work Good.as long as you do it in lifts. Gets really hard..The truck your building should be a beast and just the ticket for you in spreading the Cement. Great Video..

Glad to hear you could see your way to a couple of days off, you've more than earned them. Wise words on equipment power to weight, nobody needs a spreader truck that turns 9s in the quarter mile... looks like you need a bogger with enough tires and axles to float the load over deep muck or failing to float, having pulling hooks with cable keepers. Truck catches up to the dozer and the cae doesn't fall off. Good stuff as usual get some rest as you can.

11:15 why not a surplus 8V71 - older M109 howizers get decommisioned with engines that barely have 2000 hours on it with most beign idle time used for the howizers hydraulics saw one with 1800 hours that was sold for under 1500 dollars

Your one busy man. So much going on. I like your thinking. Take a chance to tear up the transfer case before replacing it. Why replace it if it’s not broke. Lol. Wishful thinking but never know it might last a while.

One of these days I expect that you will put a spreader body on one of those high flotation excavator undercarriages, and maybe bridge a reclaimer between two sets of high flotation excavator tracks. You need to be able to turn a swamp into a pad in 3 passes! Lol
