Stumbled upon your videos as I’ve been poking around for advice on tree work. My (very small) business is picking up and I’m even getting repeat customers! It’s just me, a Husky, and a 1966 Chevrolet C10.

Loosing the first one was hard for me, the only thing I wanted in life was another dog and it took several years and lots of life drama before I could find a situation that allowed I ran away, became emancipated at 15 yo, tried all sorts of things to keep myself occupied but dogs was what I really wanted Eventually I got a pair, those ones ages out and I got a single Chesapeake bay retriever “Joe”, a champion and a perfect animal Then a friend found me another free hunting dog on Craigslist and Spencer GSP was my number one for a long time Spencer passed one year ago and I will never find another like him But Another real good boy has stepped up “Toby Bandogge” now has my heart I love all my girls and some are more personable than others I have had many since that first one “Yuba chocolate lab” passed that were profound influence and effect on my life I usually have right around a dozen these days, I am a proud houndsman The greatest honor you can show the ones who have passed is to allow yourself to win the heart of another fine working animal They are never the same but they will all bless you with something new and great if you allow them to Put in the time and hrs work to allow them to show you their potential Dog bless you friend May your heart find peace and know the joy of another This was meant to be a short comment but I kept on typing

When I chop firewood at work I sometimes pick up the tiny chips of wood because I like the sound they make when I put them on the stack. Feels good to treat yourself with little things like that. I feel so blessed sometimes. Nothing better than sitting down after a hard day of work and just drinking some WATER. Have a nice day everyone.

We have a two-man out to the farm. Only it has a hydraulic motor on it. Dad bought it from the Great Northern RR. Him and Grandpa use to cut the big cottonwoods down along the confluence of the Yellowstone and theMissouri. They had a sawmill too. Every building on the place was cottonwood lumber.

If my thinking is correct, if you had to make a horizontal cut with a two man saw, you didn’t rotate the saw, but swiveled the bar 90 degrees! And kept the engine in the same orientation as when bucking!
@dennislorden31423 жыл бұрын
Ganges was right about doggin in lower, more time to have the saw held up by the dogs, and only really need to grab the tip when it finally cuts through and then picking it back up for another cut

My husband told me stories of my father-in-law having McCulloch saws in the mid-late 50's. One of which was a two man saw. He cut and sold oak firewood in northern California. According to my husband he also had a buzz saw/log splitter he hand built. He also had something called a drag-saw which I've never seen.

I have restored a model 7-55 runs great as long as I push the primer button every few seconds. For the life of me I can't find any info on tuning the carb, problem shooting etc. Owners manual's seem to be like the holy grail, upwards of $70 for one. Is there anywhere to download a copy

So how do you go about getting an axe from this great man? I mean I have watched him make God only knows how many axes & its been about three years now far as me watching his channel, so its time haha. I'd love to support a man like this, because knowing how he does it seeing the love & passion reminds me a lot of myself being grateful with every breath. Hes a brother from another mother & I can go on about all those important things, but just wanted to ask about that. You would think i would know by now how to go about getting an axe haha. Life is good. Take care though brothers & sisters. Much love & respect
