Running an AlpiCOOL CX50 on 100 Watts & 100 Amp Hrs - Can it be done? - The Vintage Trailer Project

Like many mid-60's vintage trailers, our trailer did not come with a refrigerator. And let's face it, buying ice everyday for the Ice Box and Cooler can get tiring (very quickly) and EXPENSIVE! The solution? A 12 Volt portable refrigerator! But... would I be able to run it indefinitely on 100 (useable) Amp Hours and a 100 Watt Solar Panel? That's what we are going to find out!
Hey y'all! About 6 months before the pandemic shut the world down in Mar 2019, my wife and I purchased a vintage camper... a California-built 1965 Oasis... and the vintage trailer project had begun!
Sadly, our hopes of hooking up our trailer and seeing where the wind takes us was quickly stifled by some pretty restrictive provincial camping registration limitations. Even so, we managed to get out a few times and in the process came to realize that "vintage charm", while... charming... sometimes needs a few modern amenities.
To that end I've made a few upgrades. Nothing outrageous... ventilation; running lights; 12V electrical upgrades & solar... making every attempt to maintain as much of the original vibe as possible.
I'm no expert, and these videos are for entertainment purposes, but I like to take things apart, figure out how they work, and improve upon them if I can... and if you can benefit from me sharing some of my projects, all the better!

I just picked one of these up yesterday at Princess Auto. So far testing has been great. I will most likely be getting a solar panel at camp to keep the batts juiced but this thing sure does sip power. I froze a large nequick container to a solid block of ice in about 30 hours. Not ideal for making ice but it wil be fantastic for mainting ice alrerady made in bottles. and refreezing half thawed bottled from coolers. My days of buying ice are over. BTW I could not get the bluetooth to work with this model though I have read others have successfully. Thanks for the vid

Do you know if this model has a built in battery? The Manal says it does. I assume this is just to maintain the display when it is unplugged and not to run the compressor

There are some model that has build in batery but not all
