You should keep cool on the coastal paths Claire with the sea breeze, i live in Cumbria Claire and if you haven't done the two sections you missed out yet due to transport issues i am willing to help you out if you wanted me to, you could leave your car at your finishing point, i am willing to take you to your starting point.

That's so kind of you to offer. I have Saturday and Sunday potentially free this weekend, I'm going to see if it would be possible for me to do Whitrigg to Silloth on Saturday and Silloth to Maryport on Sunday.
