"We always strive to incorporate basic figures into all of our routines. That doesn't mean that your routines can't be beautiful and exciting. In this particular sequence we are using a Curved Feather after a Running Feather. They are both natural turning figures and have a really beautiful flow. The Running Feather commences in Closed Position, it moves through to Promenade Position before slipping back into Closed Position. The Curved Feather starts in Closed Position and moves through into Outside Partner Position. The timing that we're using is Quick Quick Quick Quick Slow Quick Quick.

With regards to sway you can see that there is a sway to the left in preparation, moving to the right in the Running Feather, back to the left at the end of the Running Feather and then a sway change from left to right throughout the Curved Further. "
