Hey, love the video! Once you have completed the run does the race provide you with a letter containing your time and splits? Also how do you know when you have completed the half marathon?

Thanks. Most races publish the results on their website and send you an email. Some also send a text message. They'll be a finishing line with a timing mat so you'll know when the finish is. For this race because it was laps we had to know ourselves when to filter off to the finish rather than start another lap.

Actually for me the mentally battle during this race wasn't too bad. Probably because unlike my last half marathon I paced this one right and managed a strong finish.

I know what you mean. I wouldn't normally like laps but this race had a special feel to it because it was a motor circuit with lots of history. Next race in a few weeks, a 10k at Chessington.

It looks hilly!I thought it was gonna be flat.. 😬🤣

It was pretty flat really but the wind meant the conditions were pretty tough. Last year this race was in October but they've moved to to the Summer this year so hopefully it will have better weather conditions.

what camera do you use to get smooth footage like that?

For my running footage I use a GoPro Hero 6 with the built in stablisation. I sometimes also use a gimbal with it but not during races like this video. If you are after one, I'd recommend looking at the GoPro Hero 7 Black: amzn.to/2PSgQzB which has even better stablisation.

Here We Are Running thanks for info, it's surprising how good the stabilisation is even without a gimbal, and the sound quality is good as well
