Onde o punk rock e o heavy metal se encontram. Esse cara é fantástico e acho incrível como nenhum grande empresário na época em que ele saiu do Maiden conseguiu perceber o potencial mercadológico dele. Sou muito fã de Dickinson e cantores de registro alto. Porém Paul dianno representava um estilo de cantar metal que não foi bem explorado. Fui há vários shows dele no Brasil, o primeiro foi em 99 no dia 02 de novembro ( finados) em Recife, na praia do pina e ele simplesmente destruiu. Anos depois ele voltou ao Recife, tbm assisti. Depois eu estava a trabalho em São Paulo e soube última hora que tinha um show dele e eu consegui ver. Experiências diferentes, porém inesquecíveis. Long life to Paul. Hail the heavy " punk" metal.

@jmodico Iron Maiden would never be where they are today if they keeped Paul in the band. And they would never be where they are today if they wouldn't have had Paul in the band from the beginning. I love the first 2 albums as much as the rest, a beautiful piece of history and a piece of my life. I don't know what I think of his singing today, but back then, one of the best. Forever Rock n Roll!

Omg guys, if you say that Paul D DiAnno today would be the best singer of Maiden, you don´t know anything about music. Paul was great on those two first albums, but he was a drunken idiot, and he led the band, and Steve Harris, down! Bruce was one of the reasons Maiden became the biggest metal-band in the world, and his voice-rage is miles beyond Paul´s. But Paul contributed well to Iron Maiden in the beginning, and he will always have my respect for what he did for the band :)

His voice-rage is clearly not better than Paul's. Paul always sounds aggressive unlike Bruce who sounds like an opera singer. If we're talking about range, Paul is actually much better than Bruce. Do you think "range" is when someone screams very high notes? Bruce was more commercial but he wasn't a better singer than Paul.

Martsapso21 I study at the royal music academy in Denmark, so do not make the assumption that I don't know about this stuff. Bruce can sing almost as deep as Paul, even though he is a tenor. Paul can barely sing up more than one octave these days, and that one octave sounds very unhealthy if you ask me :/

Fenny Helgi Does he sound unhealthy in his newest album? Try finding on youtube some acoustic performances he did in 2012. He can still sing alright if he wants to. But back in the day his range was better than Bruce's. Bruce can't sing in the lower register, he sounds bad. I can go around screeching like a tortured cat but it doesn't count as range or high notes. Paul could almost reach Bruce's high notes but Bruce was/is nowhere near Paul's low notes.

Maybe Steve and Rod should decide for themselves which singer IM should have? Or is this your band? It isn't, is it? So what right have you got to tell them whom to choose as long as you cannot tell a great voice from a pig's screaming. Bruce is one of the Holy Metal Trinity, and who is Paul? The first IM vocalist? Is that his only achievement in his long life? Look at him. Do you want IM to have such a vocalist? They would never have as many fans as they do with Paul or Blaze, and IM are clever enough to understand that. But I guess you are not.

When & where is this from? What's the name of the band Paul is playing with? Usually it's some cover band he picks up locally. Great band! I love Paul's vocals on the first 2 Maiden albums, but I don't like his singing today.
