Hannah - talk about a backhanded compliment.... 🤨 I’m 41 and found it useful.

Elmo-and this compliment clearly wasn’t for you was it? It was meant for KZbinr

Hannah Gacha1997 - I didn’t know all trainees were 12 and you’re posting on a public forum for all to see. Sorry, but it seems condescending and arrogant to me, especially for trainees who are 20, 30, 40, etc.

CMAS Divemaster here, love your channel :) I would like to make a small suggestion if I may... after almost 20 years, I’ve encountered a few out of air situations where the divers unfortunately lost the Roman grip resulting on the panicked -and more buoyant diver- literally holding on from the regulator’s mouthpiece. For that reason I normally advise to hold from the BCD straps so in case one of the divers accidentally let go, the other still has a firm grip. Just my 2 cents!

El Diablo Yes, I think that is also a great technique. The Roman Arm shake os what most people teach, but I have to agree with you that I also personally like the holding the BCD strap more :)

Yes, when you are out of air it is hard to breath, but easy again through your buddies alternate air source. They key is to calm down for easy breathing.

LOL. Out of air, and proceeds to inflate BCD with air to ascent.
@MarcelVanDenBerg14 жыл бұрын
Hi buddy, I think you are not watching the training video correctly. The person that is out of air is DEFLATING any remaining air from the BCD on ASCENT, then on the surface he is ORALLY inflating he BCD as he is out of air. The rescue still has air, but is also deflating the BCD on ascent and at the surface uses the power inflator to inflate as he still has air. Thank you for your great comment and have a good day
