Love that, Dan. I've been running a lot myself but never have I tried to run a marathon. I'm so envious but at the same time, I know that I can do it. My PB in 10k is 42:25, so for me the challenge is to put the pace down to 5:30-6:30. But obviously that pace is crucial.

That's awesome. I think you could totally do it! Marathon (I would say) is just all about being mentally strong, as well as physically.

Hey Dan, I want to run this marathon in 2019, but am a little bit overwhelmed by all the requirements listed on the Soweto marathon website. It says that you have to be part of an accredited running club in SA in order to be able to register for the marathon. Did you have to do that or is there anything else that is unusual in SA regarding marathons?
