Actually, I painted this sumbitch as I remembered the fun I had painting the driver tires. I could be wrong, as in the day I painted many K4's or Kanawahas. It is pronounced Kanah. I did not at this time settle on my now trademark, coal on the tender deck bit. Since I found a way to print out on black paper white headlight numbers in 2-4 point characters. Prior to this, I would decal one number at a time and carefully place with a small blade on the headlight and let it set before doing the next. it was rather time consuming and one of the reasons I quit custom painting as customers did want to pay for the extra time for headlight numbers. Assumptions were made since factory painted steam locos had headlight numbers, that this should be part of the price.
