Jase is just the coolest guy. I'd love to learn some hunting and fishing tips from him. We still quote him around my house from when he was on TV. "Dove is the filet mignon of the sky". Classic.

Yes, he reminds me of my Dad who has now no longer with us. It's uncanny how close they resemble each other and the fact my Dad was ALWAYS cracking jokes like him is crazy.

yall dont even know how much yall helped me, got me out the streets doing what i thought was cool and got me now fishing every chance i get i follow christ the best i can and try to pass on the information iv learned from yall to my friends and family. just by watching your channle and spending countless hours of watching duck dynasty. yall help me see a better way of life and for that THANK YOU

Loved this video. Dad taught me to trot line years ago. Its a dying art in my neck of the woods these days. With the knowledge I have I can fill freezers full quickly. I tell my wife don't worry, what meat shortage? At the beginning of this so called pandemic, I picked up a few boxes of basic 25 rd 6 shot 12 guage ammo. The cashier made a random comment about it. My response was, thats 75 squirrels right there. You can eat a long time on 75 squirrels! Theirs nothing wrong with Phill's way of living, I consider it a privilege. Our young generation coming up for the most part have absolutely no connection to it.

Crappie have been spawning here for a few weeks. Some of the best eating the Lord provided. It's no coincidence that Morels, Crappie and asparagus are all in season together.

@@northface484 God has blessed Phil with four boys who have each a talent. They all played a role for the success of the business. Right, Willie is the bussinessman selling products that Jase made. Al is the planner, organizer and spiritual leader. Jep was being the camera in the beginning when they started to produce their own videos. God is good.

I can't remember if it was one of the DC videos or one of the TV shows but Jase said" The OPS are runnin, and I'm runnin with them". I live 1 block from a river and although I don't need to sustain from it right now, it's nice to know that if I need to, I can. Great video, thx for sharing.

Grew up commercial fishing the Tn river. Eating what we caught and killed. Some years it was tough. Other years it was bad, but loved it for sure.

I grew up smack dab on the Arthur Kill and Raritan Bay... I learned how to Crab when I was a little girl, and my Summer Vacations I'd be catching Crabs. .. It's so peaceful growing up on the water. It sets you up for a whole different way of thinking.

I’ve never fished for a living but my dad drug me around every river bank and mountain from Harlan Ky to the Rocky Mountains in Denver Colorado. All the wanders I’ve seen on this earth in forty years, there’s no question God is Almighty.

I don't know if y'all ever read these comments but I grew up in Arkansas. I was too young to really interested in the things my dad was teaching me, and sadly he passed in 2017. I currently live near Chicago and all I want is to get back to the roots I came from. I'll pay my own way every step... But Mr. Phil can I come fishing with you and just listen to the word of God? I'm serious... I just want to get back to nature where I belong and listen to the word
