Aurora's music is frequently inspired by nature. She told The Sun: "'Running With The Wolves' is about freedom and joining nature again, getting away from phones and radio and all the stuff we keep around us." Aurora wrote the song during the blood moon in 2014. She told The 405: "I just imagined the moon turning all the people around the world into wild animals, running away from all the rules, all the materialism and technology. Just being a part of nature again, running free."

Happy Birthday Aurora 😁 Aurora doesn't celebrate her birthdays, so we do this for her. She once got a teddy bear as a child for her birthday. That made her very sad. She asked what would happen to him when she died. Then he would be all alone. This is Aurora. I think that says it all. It was a quarter of a century ago that she was born into a world that she doesn't always feel a part of. What is she doing? awesome song, my son did a group contemporary dance number to this song a few years ago. I haven’t been able to see him on stage for 2 years due to COVID restrictions so this brought back a wave of amazing memories and emotions. Thanks once again for making my day.

That survival lesson made me laugh - it is why I spent some winters dog sledging - letting the close relatives of wolves - Alaska Huskys - run in front of me - kindly pulling me and our gear along. Thank you for your reaction/birthday celebration. It is worth being reminded of high-energy Aurora as she has been so much "unplugged" work lately (Nidarosdomen, Bergen philharmonic etc). One must always remember that Aurora also is a wolf that can bite.

If you want howling with the wolves, you really should do Nightwish 'Seven Days to the Wolves' Live at Wembley Arena. It's a song inspired by Stephen King's 'Wolves of the Calla' and is definitely my favourite Nightwish live performance.

This is one of my favorites, not just only the song and the metaphors, but the video is awzm, so telling and still leaves room for personal interpretation. And AUuuu... we have the same skintype.
