Why would you buy a trail shoe for literally anti-trail? Buy a Gel-Nimbus 26/27

Generally, trail shoes rubber is "grippier" or "tackier" which means that the tradeoff is that it wears down faster than a shoe made for concrete. With that said, if you really like the shoe, it would be totally fine and offer great grip as you commute on foot, especially when the surface is wet.

How does it compare with the speed goat?

Tested both (on a treadmill), in my opinion the Speedgoat is very stiff and uncushioned in comparison to the Trabuco. The Trabuco also got a way more roomy toebox which fits myself better so I went with the Trabuco and didn’t regret it, awesome shoe!

What is the lug depth? Do you know how this compares foam and stats vs the 12 model?

Do these fit the same as Nike or adidas trail running shoes? The last pair of regular Asics running shoes I ordered in my normal size 10 were too small and had to return them as they were sold out in a 9.5 for me to even try. Road Runner Sports recommends to size up a half size on these Gel-Trabuco 13's however which is why I am looking for sizing advice......
