I have the trabuco max 2, and it's been an amazing shoe!!! It's still going today like brand new!! Concrete for 8 hours pulling heavy pallets.....easy!! 0 pain!! I'm a heavier guy at 225. Can't wait get this trabuco max 4!!!!

Having had my Trabuco Max 2 for over a year and a bit, they have been tremendous. I have ordered the new max 4 i can't wait to feel the improvements. I went for the grey version as Asics cancelled my order for the lime green ones.

I have 2 of the Asics Trabuco Max 2 and i love them to the point that i wear them on road running, gym running, walking and etc fantastics shoes. Can't wait to get the trabuco Max 4

According to the website, the weight has gone from 295g -> 305g -> 315g from v2 to v4. They really should try to make it lighter since it has more than enough cushion as it is. I recommend the v2 if you can find it on sale.

Looking at the weight is useless for a training shoe, the more is the weight, better you train. Professional runners don’t care, just lazy KZbinrs.

For some reason unknown to mankind, Asics never makes a Goretex version of this shoe. God forbid someone wear trail shoes on trails.

Do people actually wear gore-tex trail runners ? It will get wet anyway, does not drain well and takes ages to dry out. I have always used a combination of non-goretex shoe with some waterproofed socks like dexshell or something (if really needed). Quite a lot of people do the same as far as I noticed.

Looks like the shoe has a proper bucket seat now prior it did not. I don't think this shoe will collapse on the medial heel side anymore. It looks a lot more stable. Hope there's some flexibility in the forefoot. I think the super blast too will always be a faster trail shoe than this thing, but this thing does look fun

The version 3's midsole collapsed on the medial side after the frist run. It did this for 2 other runners I know (the version 2 didn't do this). Will give the 4's a chance because I love the shoe. But if it does it again - I'm out for good.

Trabuco max 2 foam was much better than the 3. That eco really killed the ride. Im glad the ff max is much bouncier than the eco. Hope this new version of the eco feels more similar to the ff max

The last is always off on these. No one has toes that curl up like that, so you always have to go up a size.

Is the Trabuco Max 4 similar in width to the Brooks Caldera 8 ?

Caldera is slightly more narrow in the FF, and a bit firmer vs the TM. Both great max stack trail shoes, and for the road, I am a die hard Brooks guy....and even I enjoy the TM series more vs the Caldera series...just a better feel overall. Caldera feel less smooth heel-to-toe and clunky overall....not a huge difference, but noticeable if you wear both shoes to rotate.

I've used these for some really technical races. It's an absolute tank and it's really stable. No danger of rolling whatsoever. It's too wide
