This area is beautiful! There used to be a bicycle race in the 80's & early 90's called 'Mining Country' that started in Globe and went through the towns of Kearny and Winkelman and Superior. I used to look at all the rough terrain while riding that race and was awestruck by the geographical features. Can't wait to do this race next year!
