It's a cool boat. I also have the smaller barbwire 17. They rip and never have to worry about capsizing. Fun for sure!

idk what size motor, but can probably upgrade. Haiboxing (HBX) 2188B just arrived, I'm really surprised at the 1/18 180 powered RTR drifter, its so much like a 1/10 scale, turnbuckles everywhere it counts on the thing too. friction dampers for "shocks" but you wouldn't know it.

I found a fix for the lean back on tack off. remove rear track roller, access the spring in shock keep spring in keeper, place fuel line tubing over the spring and reassemble, no more back flips. Also cut out battery box and remove interior will give more room for bigger battery.

I think the WPL E-series will be a tracked vehicle like this... Most likely the GAZ 71, judging from the teaser photo on their official Facebook page. I'll probably wait for that before buying a tracked vehicle, but this thing looks cool too!

After I cleaned the sand out of most of it I ran 2 more packs without issues but have not done any further durability testing since. I will run it again probably when I go camping. Probably add weights to the front and see what that does.

Loved watching the Howe brothers build and test the ripsaw. This looks like a fun rendition of it. Looks like you had a blast in the sand. Have you had a chance to run it more. How is it holding up?

Just a hand full of times after that run. Nothing is broken so far and after cleaning the sand off most of it it's back to like it was brand new. Fun to mess with for sure

its actually really easy to open it up. just a couple scews on the bottom and it splits in half. a lot of room in there for weights up fro. or modding.

Yeah some more traction would be nice. I know they sell a version with extra tracks but in think they may be plastic with metal link pins or something like that.

If you have a can of duster to reach area's that are practically impossible plus saves time and a nice 3" long bristle Camel hair brush too.Is the speed variable or fixed ?? Is Very Nice, But that's the worst place to put the hatch for battery access, if you go to Walmart and get a small roll of vinyl laminate, cut a rectangular piece to cover the battery panel it will lock out any moisture and dirt that adds to unwanted failure ! The speed is proportional and so is the steering. I was thinking of trying to make it amphibious but where the wheels come out may be a challenge to seal. Its a fun rig!

It comes with a 7.4 lion and I don't think its waterproof but maybe if you seal the 2 halfs and waterproof the electronics then maybe it might float and would be a fun mod!

Yeah nice video. Still unsure of the idea of the actual RC. It says crawler on the box but nothing vibes as crawler. So fun and fast bash yes, crawler not a chance. But just my opinion, obviously u have one and i do not so ur judgment is better than mine.

definitely not a crawler. Maybe some trails once you weight the front end. Needs more speed and power for bashing as well. It's just fun to run. mine is still unmodded

you can find similar batteries but the plug might be different. I would just update the plug to something more common so you can use other batteries imo.

What I have noticed is if I pay for shipping it gets to me faster than with free shipping. Takes some of the free shipping stuff like a month. I get the stuff I pay shipping on generally around 2 weeks. I'm in the US so it may vary depending where you are from. When I need to contact them I usually go through the app or the website I believe you can also live chat with them. I have had good results with live chat.

Yup it has all the weight from the gearbox and motor at the back. There is enough room to add some weights up front to hopefully help it perform better.

The sand just jammed up the top row of free spinning wheels. Also gets inside through the air vents.

Kind of disappointing if it suppose to have metal gears and it DOES NOT. China - plastic/nylon gears do not hold up!!

It really is disappointing. Specially when they advertise it. I haven't done any abusive runs but so far with about 12 runs through it the gears look brand new still so hopefully it's not bad. Only time will tell though.
