She is so different and striking. I like the bold choices. I understand how polarizing she is but as a long time collector I was excited to get this doll and her accessories. She doesn't have to resemble a real person or anything in the real world. I see her as art. I think she is beautiful.

I would have gotten her if she was a Nadja or other POC sculpt. Someone did a repaint, reroot, and restyle of her and she looked amazing!

Nadja deserves that body. She´s way cuter!

She’s very striking. I see the design concept but there’s a few misses. Can’t get past the gold lips. No. The accessories are beautiful but why is the top cool tone and everything else warm tone ? Hmm. I would have made the top golden tone, not silver. A more subtle lip and chocolate brown trousers. It would look more cohesive. The skirt should have been gold too and the red coat is just wrong. Sorry 😢 but I love her hair and eyes !

Lovely to see representation in the doll world. I agree that the makeup is not very flattering on her, a repaint would definitely do her some good. Please post pics of Nadja on her new body! 🖤

Another good review, Edmond. As an African-American female collector, I did not find this doll flattering. The mold is fine, but I don’t like her hair color, lip color, eyes and eyeshadow. I do, however adore her outfit. So, I purchased that separately and have her blouse, skirt, coat, shoes, boots and purse donated to other dolls.

This is Integrity's version of "omg extra" and I hope doll companies can leave "omg extra" in 2023...

Nadja totally deserves this body. Great outfit too. Not feeling that screening -_-

The Nubian skin tone of this doll is beyond beautiful, it's ethereal. However, the makeup choices demonstrates the need for more POC doll designers in the industry overall. Mattel sometimes makes some "interesting" makeup choices for deep tones too. I think more representation in the designing sphere would help with some of these questionable (borderline offensive) design choices.

Maybe if the eyes were brown?

I am not sure why you keep mentioning the word racist...I don't feel that there is anything racist about this fabulous doll...remember, she is a runway model here...have you seen some of the crazy looks runway models have had to endure? This is mild in comparison...and I have seen this doll redressed and looking amazing...I have this doll...and yes, the wardrobe and accessory pieces are quite wonderful...I have all 4 of the Magia 2000 dolls in this set...truly fun dolls and wardrobe pieces! Maybe wait a bit and play with her awhile before doing the Franken-dolly route...

The discussion when initial photos were released is that her makeup, especially the lips, resemble how a white person looks when adopting blackface. Also, blue eyes are extremely rare in dark-skinned AA people, and her hair, although a fantasy tone, is also light and straight. I am a white person from an area of Canada with hardly any black people, but I can see why black people would be irked by the clumsy handling of natural black features in the one black doll in the series. The actual doll does look better than the photos. In this case, being that it is Italian designers, I think it is more of a case of ethnocentrism and ignorance rather than outright racism.

Everything is about racism these days in America. You see a lot of African-American girls wearing blonde wigs with coloured contacts but that's ok. right?

It'd be ironic if Integrity Toys made a r@cially insensitive doll considering it started out as a company that created multi-cultural dolls. I do wish she had brown eyes instead of blue, but I don't get r@ci5t/r@cially insensitive vibes from the doll.

I agree with @user-fb6dl7sh7w, it’s a couture look, it’s runway, it’s drag show, it’s eleganzaa! It’s not like we’ve never seen this look irl. The skin tone is beautiful. What I don’t like is the boots with the gown and the capris with the top; it should have been skirt or maybe short shorts…I don’t know the top gold shoes and the gold boots were all different vibes that probably shouldn’t have been together.
