RunwayML Image-to-Image Transformation: I WAS IN SHOCK!

I joined Krea to gain access to a variety of video generation tools. As of 12/6/24, Runway doesn’t offer the ‘first-to-last’ feature, but both Luma and Kling do, so I plan to test that out. I’ve been considering not renewing with Runway because I don’t have a filmmaking background, nor do I have an interest in learning filmmaking-I just want results. My experiences with it so far have been frustrating, with outputs often melting like candles. I have until next summer to decide, but for now, I’ll definitely give this a try. Thanks!

@@lehsu Yes the blend is always interesting to me. Like when a scifi film is all cgi or some scifi films with none or little. Story is what I think Hollywood has been missing for a while now and I hope this AI surge brings the creators out to forge new amazing stories that made us all love film. I totally agree I am always on the side of great work not spam. BUT These tools will help loads of ideas over the line I think.

I’ve been waiting many months for AI video to get to the quality it has recently and absolutely mine blowing and you’re right Hollywood better either be worried or jumping on this or both

I have been waiting nearly 2 years @thewebstylist I stopped what I was doing to bank on it working so pleased we are near the time of being to create something worth watching now. Hollywood is reacting but the tools will be open to all I think the Franchise cinema release model will die eventually? We will have the tools to create at will ..which makes me very excited!

I went for runway as I have been tracking the vid gen from the start and they always have been at the forefront. But so many new ones being released soon don’t sign up for a year 😀

You took the last frame of every vid and create a loop between first and last frame? Very futuristic this vídeo, y only use running as prompts? thanks 4 share, i have been doing 4 my company very good content also.

Yes but not took swapped every frame you can swap them so much easier than copying then . I find prompting is extra not the main thing. I use it but very small amounts right now. Thanks for watching

I've followed your instructions and tried to replicate what you did in Runway, but I can't get anywhere near the same results. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or how to achieve the same outcome as you. Could you please explain the process in more detail or clarify how you did it

Hey thanks for coming back. Firstly I have done this hundreds of times. My first videos I made where with dreams and meditation in mind. So I see the result I want then aim for that. I am looking for a certain morph, and will generate multiple times OR improv as I go. I am going to run a free course on this as I have a few people want to do it and struggle. I think I'm going to start going live here to as I go live on TIkTok Every day.

Hi @Comic_Book_Creator Luma great but this is at another level. It's the logic it's using to go from image to image. Doesnt always work but you can prompt it too so really looks nice when it works. Have you tried image to image with your comics?

Yes, I also have Runway's Unlimited Plan, but lately I am working the past two weeks on a 5-minute A.I. black-and-white film using MiniMax that takes place in the late 1950s. Almost done. It looks photorealistic, and is an homage to the 1950s invasion films. I'm trying to finish it by Thursday to enter it into the Curious Refuge Halloween A.I. film contest. You'll be able to see the short film very soon, when I upload it.

LUMA labs Dreammachine does the same but no lipsync. And the image quality of the output is better than Runways.

@@phill_ai I notice that RUNWAY which is awesome by the way slightly changes the image quality of the actual image but with dreammachine it doesnt change. Although you get a better animation from Runway. Same with KLING and Vidu. They both produce better animation but change the quality of the image. Saturation of sorts.

Yes and in the extend feature even more. I do training every night on AI Video and my catchphrase is ‘horses for courses’ depending upon your project depends on the tools. Some image generators work better on some subject matter. Also some image generators work better with different video generators.
