As one of Runways Creative Partners, I probably should have know this, but I had a late AI start this morning, I learned about this from your video lol. It was probably announced on the discord to but i'm terrible at checkin in hah. I like to build out really basic scenes in Blender, then run that render through the AI with vid to vid. I also like to drop my characters (alpha background of course) into my Blender scenes and Unreal Engine as an image plane and now I can have those background characters animated, so long as the camera faces them no one will be able to tell they're just 2D planes. SO MANY USES FER DIS!!! Anyhow, thanks Ian, you're video are great and you're the man.

Great video! I love the creative suggestions and simple workflows. Image to video is proving to be pretty amazing, especially for filmmakers like myself who can not figure out the Blender / Unreal world. The quality isn't quite there yet but it may be by the time I hit the blue Comment button.

Thank you for your helpful videos, Ian. We have some clips with some movement that were shot vertically, and we want to keep the original videos intact while using generative fill only to extend the sides and convert them into landscape. I tried using Gen-3 Alpha for this, and even uploaded images created in Photoshop to guide the generation, but the results in Runway were terrible. Are we using the wrong tool within Runway? Any suggestions you have to convert our portrait video into landscape would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Do you have any information about the pace and rate of video generation in the unlimited plan of Gen-3? How many videos can I output on average per hour or per day for the Gen-3 Image to video?
@HikingWithCooper5 ай бұрын
In my experience you get about 8 gens a month on Runway. Not super impressive especially with Luma and now Kling charging far less for many more gens.

Im trying to take what is essentially uncanny valley graphics quality game footage and AI process it to make it feel just 5% more real to push it into the realm of live action footage (for environmental plates, no actors) but havent been able to find the right combination of techniques and apps. The only app I found was one that can do that with faces. Any ideas?
@JaysCashVault4 ай бұрын
so I have a question I want to sign up for runway but I keep getting generated videos that are completly off no matter how much I change my prompts. I dont want to spend money on credits if my credits get wasted on a video that is nothing like what I am asking for. Is there anything that can be done

Can you do a video on how to use this with product images that need high levels of realism? Things like herbal supplements, skin care, perfumes, etc, with organic scenes that don't look Ai generated.
