Hmmm, you are talking a high veg diet. I had to get off of that after becoming very anemic. I have now been eating carnivore for 9 months. For one example my arthritis pain has disappeared. Vegetables show up n the toilet when I eat them.

with all these greens, 3 cups a day, what about the danger of oxalate?? how do we detox from oxalates??

Not everyone is as sensitive to oxalates as you are. People’s dietary needs and enjoyments are different. I cook all dark greens minimally but enough to protect myself from oxalates but I eat them cause I enjoy them and feel good from eating them and I know they are nutritious for me. I eat & love a lot of salads. I minimize high lectin foods and eat nightshades rarely to keep the arthritis in my hands low to non existent in terms of stiffness & pain. I do keto. I’m diabetic and this helps me have very good control of my blood sugar. I eat some meats lots fish and starting to eat lots of tempeh, and tofu foods to lower my meat eating and keep my protein up. I’m 70 and need to work at keeping muscle mass and need to lower my cardiovascular risk.

You need both meat, and vegetables Not either/or Unless it's only for a short time, like a "fast"

@@aliciastanley5582I used to think that too. Then I read Sally K Norton's book. I thought a lot of my issues were just aging. Turns out that it was the oxalates and many other natural plant pesticides. You won't know until you actually do a full elimination diet. Oh was I surprised by how many foods I ate were inflammation causing. 😮
