Banana Deep must be a Banana powder. It's a great setting powder for people with darker/warmer complexions. I guess the product was so full because Jojo and Coco didn't have time to use it 💀

I think what made Crystal Methyd’s makeover so successful was that it was like an impressionist painting of Bert & Ernie. The reference was instantly recognizable, but the styling and makeup elevated it to its own unique thing. Much more impressive than “we’ve mostly recreated these looks from that thing you remember”.

Also not to ruin your banana deep fun, it’s just a deeper shade of banana setting powder. But speaking of makeup, I think art just did craft’s makeup last because they have a naturally softer faced so it wouldn’t take so long to make them look fish. Art has a stronger bone structure, but I do feel like the explainer is a bit of a cop out.

Aunty Donna is an Aussie comedy group. You’ll see most of their sketches on KZbin. Their humour is extremely absurd, think TikTok in a sketch format. Their main audience are people in their 20s and early 30s, that may be the reason why Scarlet was the only one obsessed. They do stand up, podcast and have a Netflix series but I do NOT recommend starting on those. Check their KZbin videos first instead.

Aunty Donna are great! They’re kind of like a modern Australian Mighty Boosh, surreal comedy stuff. Well worth giving their show on Netflix a go, but they’ve got plenty of KZbin videos to fill up your recommended!

I DO NOT recommend starting with their Netflix show. It is heavily based on their YT videos and podcast and many would miss a lot or not like the _busy_ format. Their YT channel is the best way to start.

I’m pretty sure that scarlet is the one they plan to crown seeing as how easy it was for them to forgive her over the blackface issue, I will say, as much as I like art, I did find her grating this episode because have they been doing well since coming back, yes, but it’s not like they won a challenge yet. It’s almost like Blair st Clair in as5, like you’re doing a good job, but you haven’t won anything to warrant this over confidence.

Really enjoying Drag Race España but if you need a break from RuPaul's world domination, I recommend Legendary on HBO Max. Currently watching the first season and I love it. Except for Jameela Jamil and Law Law Roach. If you're over Ru & Michelle's critiques that make no freaking sense other than "they really hate that person," you will NOT like Law Law Roach.

The other problem with all this damn drag race is that there's not that many queens you'd want to watch and it just feels all so predictable. All Stars is just an excuse to give the person that Ru really wanted to win a crown over the winner we got. The other US seasons are just like filler queens. I mean, how many *truly iconic* queens are coming out of the show since season 9 or the vh1 move?

Honestly, I think the problem is that this franchise encourages people to watch EVERY spinoff, which leads to franchise fatigue. Like, I grew up watching ANTM, Project Runway, Survivor, Top Chef - I never felt like I had to watch international spinoffs for any of these shows. So honestly, people who feel fatigue could always just stick to the versions they know and trust?

If you only want to do limited drag race exposure thats 100% cool, I dont want you to get bogged down in all the series. Maybe if you just do the one or 2 series a year like UK and all stars. Or just do like drag race short reviews where you just talk about all the quick things that stick out from the episode or I would love a runway rundown from you two. I would of loved to hear your thoughts on some of the fuckery from US runway and Uticas looks.
