It was such a bit of serendipity and don’t think it was lost for a second on Nelson.❤️ Also loved how he lingered on RuPaul as he walked out of sight behind the truck. A bittersweet and sensitive moment. Nelson was so truly kind and loving. I think that’s why, (along with the very cool slices of everyday life he invites us to join in on), we’re all so entranced. I really miss a man I never met.❤️

@locabynature No, he never knew. Very sad. He made a video the day before he died. It was just of him walking Backout down to the docks. Blackout stayed on in the house and was looked after by RuPaul and some others.

I saw Rupaul on another trip to London he made in about 1997 and saw him on the London Eye. He was really sweet when i spoke to him.

How do you fly to London and not have enough money to be there? How did he afford the ticket? How did he think he could get by in London without money? How did customs know how much money he had? This doesn't make any sense.

Hugh Simon Well, yes it does. If you've ever been through customs, you would understand. They ask you for an address of where you will be staying, how long you will be there and how much money you have available and what you plan to do in the country. They don't allow people to just come in to their country without enough money to get by on and to get themselves home. So, if you don't give the correct answers to their questions they send you packing.
