I love Crystal’s makeup; but I think the reason they never told Trixie this was because she wasn’t wearing her signature makeup on her season, remember? She was wearing this very watered down version. And when she went to all starts they were not going to tell her to change the look she got famous in.

see thats where it looks shady to me. crystal has the same makeup template but very different looks overall. aiden literally wore the exact same eye makeup for every outfit in the first episode and they said nothing. she wore the same dress in 2 different colors with different things stuck on it too and they said nothing. mb im being shady too but those dresses were so boring and cheap looking compared to everyone else's and the judges said nothing. on one hand, i think drag race is a place where you need to leave your comfort zone and show that you are well rounded, but on the other it's clearly based on the judges personal preferences. so if they like your standard look you don't have to change much, if they don't you have to conform or sashay away.
