Sadly, it seems production has permeated to the Pit Stop as well. But there's a problem here: production seems to think they're doing good TV, but in reality they're irritating the audience and sending questionable messages: that favoritism is OK and that you can force yourself into others to get what you want.

Oh definitely. Ru definitely saw her as a finale contender on season 9. You could tell she was rather disappointed with Valentina's lack of seriousness. And normally the show will do anything to make a queen look good enough to save them from the bottom. But Valentina's refusal to remove her mask, and not learning the words... No amount of production can cover for that and Ru was forced to eliminate her.
