In this guided meditation on happiness, Rupert brings us to rest back into the simple and inherently peaceful experience of being aware.
He invites us to recognise that being aware of awareness itself is not just a place in ourselves where we take refuge from time to time, or even where we live. It is what we are and It becomes our new identity.
As we come to see that all our psychological or emotional suffering consists of our resistance to what is present or our search for what is not present, we sink back into the place of untouchable peace and happiness that is our own being.
Rupert then suggests the practice of reminding ourselves regularly of the two universal truths at the heart of the non-dual understanding, namely: being is happiness and being is shared.
All that is then necessary is to understand and feel this and to live its implications.
