Not the "creepiest" thing, but definitely disgusting... I was walking down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, near a cattle ranch at night... Just a peaceful walk in nature. Until I got a whiff of the foulest smell I'd ever experienced. After 5 minutes of walking through the horrid smell, I found the source. It was an adult cow that'd attempted to leap over a barbed-wire fence... and failed. The cow was hanging over the fence with only the front half having made it across before getting caught. It must have been at least a week or two because it was nasty decomposed & rotting. Its guts spilled out of its skin, filled with maggots, flies, and the worst stench imaginable. I just about threw up on the spot after seeing it. Wretched reek from the deepest depths of Mordor.

I used to get violin lessons in a town of 2,000, and my dad was driving me back to the home farm in a town of 300. He noticed a car was following us for about a half hour, pretty close to our bumper as we got closer to home. When we finally pulled up to our house down our long driveway, he told me to stay in the car. He got out and stomped up to the car that followed us. He asked the driver of the other car what they wanted - the other car had two guys in it. The guys said they were looking for a party, and they figured we knew where to find one. I was 14 at the time. My dad told them to get the f* out of there. They finally left. It was a Wednesday night. It probably helps that my dad was a former biker and still a little tough looking. Really, really creepy.

We were building a new house for people living next to the lot. This was in a rural area during deer season. The husband ran a construction grading business. I came in to work early one morning to find an excavator with its bucket high in the air and a fresh-killed deer hanging from the bucket by a heavy rusty chain wrapped around its neck.

If you hear a women's scream in the forest in NA, DONT RUN! sometimes it's a fox and they won't do anything...other times it's a fucking mountain lion and they will chase you if you run.

The UK yellow field scarecrow was just a farmer's goth kid enjoying the field. XD I used to dress in black, dark colors, and boots in the Florida heat (still do sometimes). I decided that I'm going to be hot either way. I have also spooked people by creeping around in nature. I suspect some kids, now adults, still recall me today.

The creepiest thing I saw was on my parents property. There was a freshly cut off goat head. Sitting in a small woods clearing with a bunch of half burned red candles scattered around it. I put a trail camera up and never caught anything. Found another goat head on the property in the same place again. Told the sheriff's office about it. Never had any issues after that.

@hookedANDyarned it was undeveloped land, so it wasn't really a concern other than not wanting people on the property or it becoming a crime scene. I was the only person who ever went on it and only during deer season. This was 8 years ago.

Lived in a border town in the late 90’s and as kids me and my little brother were in our yard jumping on our trampoline when suddenly 2 border patrol agents ran up to us and asked if anyone had passed us recently. We hadn’t seen anyone so we honestly told them no and they ran off and we continued jumping for about 20secs before i came to the realization that if they were looking for someone then that person might be around and me and my little brother ran into the house and told our parents about what had happened. It was pretty scary and sudden i am glad our town was pretty much safe

I had an encounter with a wolf. It was close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Moses Cone in NC. Totally caught me by surprise. It was just a few yards away, and it wasn't the afraid of me at all. In fact, it looked at me like it wasn't the least bit impressed. Then it just turned and trotted off like it didn't think I was worth the bother. Most animals avoid humans. It's pretty frightening when you see another predator that isn't intimidated by humans.

09:17 they're not affected by rabies like that but it could have had some neurological injury or issue, chronic waisting disease, a lot of bovine viruses/diseases cause them to act really strange. Mad cow disease is an example. There's some really weird illness out there.

Regarding the werewolf story question: yes. I have seen a "monster" for not a split-second, but a few seconds. It was the first time I saw an Irish Wolfhound. My husband, parents and I were leaving a store in the town we'd just moved to, and at the edge of the clearing there was a tiny woman with a huge werewolf. We had all agreed that's what we immediately saw but then reasoned that it must be a dog. None of us like talking to strangers at all, and it seems odd now that we drove up and rolled down the window, but we had to know what we were looking at. The woman told us. I still am not sure if she was tiny, but I think so. This was almost twenty years ago, and looking it up on the internet wouldn't have been immediate, and it probably would have taken a little longer. So thank goodness we asked, because we might have been half-convinced the doggy was actually a werewolf.

Nw alaska: was star gazing. Saw a satellite take a sudden 90° turn. Idk any human craft that can whip a shitty at 7,000 mph. Also had something start scratching at my cabin and hittting the windows when I was there alone. Kept circling the cabin and going higher till it was 15 ft off the ground. Slept w a 12g that night.

One I went up to the Ù.P (Michigander) we were staying I a small motel next to Lake Michigan, one early morning, around 3:00 AM, we were up for some reason, and heard this human-like blood curdling scream from the woods, we haven't the slightest what it was 2 years later
