Mate, please try roasted Brussel sprouts, cut em in half, pour a bit of olive oil on em, or dab a bit of butter on them and roast em until they go soft. They are sweet and delicious. Also mate, the names you couldn't think of for the tuscan kale and rocket is, Cavalo Nero and Arugula 😉

We call it arugula in Canada, I like it but its quite spicy or peppery which so its better to keep it in salads instead of in a smoothie.

I'm wondering, if you collected a sack of shell pieces off the beach and spread them in your acidic compost they should get broken down quite quickly and bring the acidity closer to neutral (Just an idea) 👍 Chinese cabbage, the main ingredient for making gymchi, love it 😁 Honey has propolis made by the bees which is the anti-fungal / antibiotic that prevents it going bad. If you put a copper wire or strip around a contain slugs and snails will not get in. Do a test, if I'm wrong I'll give you $500, you have my word. Mammals have an iron based blood system, slugs and snails have a copper based system and copper metal really is an enormous problem for them.

Hi Clay, I just got back from 11 days in NZ, helped my aunt (the one that just had her ex mp husband pass away I mentioned in my last comment) build a dog proof fence around her small orchard in Taranaki. I had to put some fence posts in and she had half a meter of volcanic rich top soil everywhere, everything was growing so well, it would be a dream to have the same thing over here, I think around my place in canada Im lucky to have 4-6" of top soil before I hit the clay. Regarding food prices in NZ, geez its out of control. We had chinese takeout in Auckland - got about 50% in quantity of what we would usually have in canada and it cost us $280 - I couldn't believe it. My parents love going to cafe's in nz so we went to a cafe with my parents and my sister and her husband, my wife and I didnt even get any drinks and the bill was $410 I could not believe it at all, I think most Nzders must be straight up struggling when it comes to just eating a healthy diet. I noticed that countdown still had a huge section of those powered juice drinks like raro, thought the govt would definetly be trying to cut out sugary shit like that in nz diets instead of just focussing on making it all smoke free by 2025.

Well done helping your Aunty. My 3 day trip to Christchurch to help my mum with my children cost $1300 in total and most of that was food and fuel. Inflation has driven the cost of living up for all of us.
@morgancross5454

That's almost $70 each per person mate, how could that be possible at a cafe? Unless you spent the afternoon there drinking I find that hard to believe.

Hi clay. I was using wood shavings for my chickens, ducks and dry toilet for years. The problem with wood shavings is that they take years to break down. I've moved to using another horse bedding called elephant grass. It works great and breaks down quickly. Maybee its available in nz? Thanks for videos.

Hello? i have a question for you! You said back 8 years ago in the comment to the article about 1000 True Fans, that you have 2700 subs and only 260 true fans! A nd the question is How much you true fan base? What is the income from that fan base and the last on eis Arent you tired to fo one thing regulary?
@ClayTallStories
@ClayTallStories Жыл бұрын
Good question. I have learned alot. My subscribers numbers have gone up bit my income has not. This is due to my content changing. My current content is not as popular as it was 8 years ago but has much more variation. It is the variation that stops me from becoming tired of doing the one thing.

I'm recently out of prison trying to stepup as I was prior under pressures 12 hour days 6 days a week pot growing useless father's not paying for there children stress/pressure got me in the end 2 weeks out trying to lead by example teach the right way my parents taught me am I going wrong ???it's killing my family/relationship pressing what I learnt from my elders just trying to put there best foot forward it's literally killing me in the position I'm in but prison clear vision is helping me recognize what's okay and what's not what's healthy what's not I'm at a crossroads what I should do by sticking by your child which is the 7th of the 8 but when's when picking up years of neglect and partner not backing right from wrong just typical unhealthy behavior
