please don't take that video seriously, 4* clears are often seen as a proof of casuals/f2ps being able to clear end games without needing to spend money, but the truth they may require certain degree of investment that not everyone have the patience/time for it that it just make them pull the 5* instead. anyways no amount of investment can demean your knowledge and skills in game, and i believe most ppl watch your videos for your tips and breakdowns.

Yeah I believe that video didn't even meant to berate any 4* challenge run, but to keep NEW players aware that even if it is 4* units , they are also heavily invested and I believe the standard req for some the clears are mostly e6 units, and no new player will have multiple copies of some of the those units. (Heck my pela isn't even e6 yet and I'm playing since launch 💀)

People need to know that some content creators disguise themselves as 'content creators' when they are actually salesmen for hoyo. So these 4* showcases are often in the way. Sure he does have a point, such as it needs extra investment (some often is indeed unrelatable coz relic rng), extra effort and not everyone have IQs to clear with 4*, but imo the first one downplaying others will be the one at fault. Keep it up and be proud. I love your videos, it's entertaining.

You can tone down your relics and stats, using no gacha LCs etc etc and salty ppl would still said "that's unrealistic" because that's how salty ppl works XD. Keep up great showcase! Don't let them get you.

But it is still very unrealistic though. Having the right eidolons on four stars is sometimes harder than having 5 stars, and let's not even talk about relics. The 55% ice damage bonus was good, i cleared this with Pela, Herta, Robin and Huohuo, but it's still extremely hard fight without a good cone for Robin, only e3 pela having extremely low damage, slow characters due to bad relics etc etc. Saw a guy doing with Tingyun and no sustain for better uptime on Robin's ult, but it's only doable because his Robin was extremely busted and had a cone so yeah, not a good example, but there's that.

To be honest, that video proves nothing: of course "meta" characters make things easy, but the reason we love watching you (as well as other 4* runs creators!) is the proof you don't "need" to have certain characters to make things work if you're willing to invest. Sometimes people forget that not everyone wants to pull for a character because "they're god tier", and seeing underused/undervalued characters being able to clear with patience it's so worth for those who love them and want to invest them. People will say "unrealistic", but truth is these showcases are what's truly entertaining to watch for me since all others will do are achefly meta comp (which I find boring as hell). So, here's a giant irony: On the red corner, endgame content abt Hsr take account for majority are *0T, leviathans, 80k fiction, 7.5k apoc* . There's literally no content for casual at all, because tryhard always take, or just outright steal the spotlight. And on the blue corner some players have the nerve, the balls to say: *Hsr is catered toward casual* , while there is no POINT AT ALL saying "casual" since tryhards and whales are erasing its concept Now which side is more correct? Forgive me for being toxic and nihilistic, but by the red corner's statistics, Hsr is a "sink or swim" game made only for the likes of (insert a 0T player, Ruri included), while the casuals just drowned in contents made by the tryhards that they waste resources mimicking a fraction of them, just to have a "decent acc to beat endgame" in the tryhard's perspective.

Well, considering that video was made by a person that said that an E6 Seele would very likely not be able to full star high level content from 2.0 onwards (I forgot the exact wording) as an "example" on why vertical investment can be bad, in their horizontal vs vertical investment video, I was not surprise by the misinformation in that video. I will say that regardless if some of your clears have builds that seem "unrealistic"/heavily invested, your videos are not only very entertaining but very informative on how combat and various mechanics works in HSR and can help people understand the game better and their account to full star high level content. People that say that 4 star only clears are "not relatable" and/or "dishonest" don't realize this and are not worth listening to imo. And I do mean it when I say I do really enjoy your videos and find them quite helpful as someone who likes to do the high level game modes with mainly the free characters you get in game (mainly being the key word as I do make exceptions lol).

I was struggling to have enough points on first node. your showcase convinced me to level up Luka. I just did 3 stars (6682 points) with Luka, Herta, Ruan Mei and Huo huo on first node - Acheron, Jiaoqiu, Aventurine and Sampo on second node. The most difficult part was... to have good stats (lot of my characters don't have full set relics because... bad luck).

Dude when I saw that video I legit got kinda mad. It just seems like such an unnecessary way of pointing out legit critiqes on building four stars for endgame content. I mean... did he really have to even bring up others content in the first place? He could have just as easily made a video on the difficulty of investing into four stars without questioning the integrity of people who genuinly put a lot of investment into their builds. The bleed/wound deals damage based from enemy’s max hp and unit’s break effect, what boost it further is def reduction and vulnerability debuff (which apoc boss will all have when broken) Luka main damage is to break the enemy, and use enhanced basic attack to immediately trigger the bleed, similar to kafka’s bleed detonation!

Insane video, btw I got a question, should I have 161 speed on FF(not including rm speed buff) with 170% BE or 150 speed with 200% BE, mind you there is only 1 DDD in the team and that's HMC, S1 DDD too, game doesn't want to re run this weapon, hoyo knows it's broken deadge

At what action values will be my 1st 5 actions of Asta and Gui will be at. Explain too, I ain't afraid of maths.

First 5 action huh - assume asta ult level 10 - First action Asta start at 37.5 AV [(10000/160)*0.6] - Guinaifen start at 55.55 AV [(10000/135)*0.75] (full av is 74.07) After Asta reach her turn, Guinaifen will be at 18.05 AV -> Asta Ult immediately so hacker and spd buff will active Guinaifen need to recalc the speed for new av - new speed is 197.72 for 0.3249 turn, 185 for 1 turn asta new speed is 222.72 for 1 turn, 210 for 1 turn - at 18.05 av she's at 3249.3/10000 left - so to recalc you can easily go with (new full av*18.05/old full av) = (50.58*18.05)/74.07 = 12.32 AV, barely get anything from this speed buff - Asta's second turn will be at [10000/222.72] = next 44.9 AV so 37.5+44.9 = 82.39 - Asta's third turn will be at [10000/210] = next 47.62 AV so 82.39+47.62 = 130 AV - For Asta assume 2T ult rotation skill spam, you'll just have to alternate between 44.9 AV and 47.62 AV, for 3T Ult it's 44.9, 47.62, 62.5 respectively For Guinaifen, since your Asta's Ult position on Guinaifen will change everytime you cast Asta's Utl (because you cast it outside of her turn and pretty close to her turn as well) I'd recommend you using the action value sheet instead - Typing all of this from my brain only would take at least 1 essay long and I don't recommend you to do it by hand also.

Robin is a fantastic choice here. Just make sure you use luka ult to break enemy aventurine

I can't believe your 4 stars are better than my wife's account (that I play) smh if only if she didn't lose twice to Sparkle then I would've used Dan Heng IL or if her account didn't lose to Jiaoqiu then Acheron would've been easier. Can anyone give me more ideas for the 2nd half? 1. Hunt March7th 2. Herta, Unless you have an absolute solution to pure fiction 3. Gallagher 4. Luka unless you have boothill - regardless luka can be a solution to some hardest content! 5. For support the most crucial one is tingyun and pela. Asta is super tanky so you can lvl 10 ult and leave the rest 70/70 is enough The rest of 4* unit already have a better and more generic 5* as their solution which most people are gonna have it

I use kafka + Luka very often, but it is not really necessary to have kafka if your Luka is e6, mb only SW is a great buff for him, because she also implants physical to non physical weak enemies. For totally f2p team I don't recommend him, too reliant on breaking enemy

everyone on the reply, thank you! yes i do have e6 luka and i was consider on building him since im planning to skip boothill(again) for aventurine. the thing i dislike about modes like this is that im expected to build dps type that has the same weakness as the enemy, rn my current strongest character is dhil with e1s1 but that alone i cant clear enough :(

Watched the video in question and honestly I got a little pissed myself. I don't even know what "deception" they were talking about when I think it's an unwritten rule among HSR CCs to show builds. Even a casual player that at least understands how gacha games work would understand that there's a difference in performance if you have eidolons. I've literally never seen anyone try to fool new players by saying "build this 4-star team you'll clear all content with it" or anything remotely close to it. Nitpicking Dance Dance Dance Superimpositions would actually make me question how much you know about the game instead lmao

That video was quite dumb. Most of the 4* channels have their builds at the end so idk tjis stuff about them hiding things (like all ive watched) And if theyre looking for true relatibility then barely anyone has only 4* unless thry just started Thus, you can adjust the run witj your upgrade Don't know why people are so hostile to 4* only clears....🤔insecurity over a game?

For those who takes this seriously, you need god roll on your relic to be able to pull that off. 4* or 5* those 160 spd or 260% break effect is going to carry the run.

If you really want to take it seriously, what you should do is not blindly copy it, but to improvise and be creative. For example, side 1 team if you have ruanmei instead of pela, you can drop all the stat to 50% of what you saw and you’ll still get higher score than me, all 4* can drop to e0, the specific reason that I use pela Luka herta because it’s the easiest team that you can twist, and since all the character is really old + Natasha, herta is free it’s the easiest to follow as well. Side 2 explain itself already, the requirement is even cheaper, 260 be on hmc is actually really easy. Watchmaker set +16, Talia 16+20, be rope 64.8, 37 from her passive, motp 56 = 209.8. This means even without any substat you only lose 10-15% break effect conversion to march, gall, asta . Which in the end will lose you not more than 100 score. March be is really low btw (usually I run 220 but it’s unrelatable so I drop it down) gall and asta build should speak for themself. I’ve go through a lot of account that struggle, even tho rm and hmc are great together, they are not shackled with each other, I lost count on how many time I just break them apart and suddenly that account clears everything.

My dude, you're exaggerating here. 160 spd can be tough, but 260% BE for HMC is LITERALLY easy to get with the right relics and MotP LC, even as just S1. And while 160 spd can be tough, it's certainly not impossible and with time, even F2Ps can get those stats, especially when you just focus on getting relics with spd for your supports. So what's your point? That 4 stars might need the extra stats? So what! You're silly if you think Hoyo is going to design the high level modes where you can easily full star with low investment. And if you really dislike that you need investment to use 4 stars only for those modes, then nobody is forcing you to use just 4 stars. Get the 5 stars that will help you clear the high level content comfortably when their banners are released.

Bro, looking at this comment section has me worried for reading comprehension. Did people even watch and understand EOD’s points at all? A lot of people’s arguments against his video end up making the same points he made… The average player isn’t as smart, knowledgeable, and invested as you are and what you make are educational guides to show what is possible. (You can probably get a sense of that if you view the average person as Twitch chat, lol.) However, it is unrealistic to expect a newer or more casual player to have specific 4* LC and characters built or have multiple heavily invested units because HSR is not about individual units but team building; you cannot get by if you focus on only one character, especially a 4* one as HSR has such a variety of content to complete. You are not guaranteed a specific 4* but you are guaranteed at least one from the pool of 4*’s. Heck, you’re not even guaranteed all of the standard 5* units. You are not guaranteed good relics or good rolls on substats. You need time and energy to farm for gear and upgrade materials. To expect a newer and casual player to be able to copy your builds can be very unrealistic, especially if they are F2P. Obviously, one does not have to play exactly how you play as just learning the game from your perspective can improve another’s performance. I believe EOD specifically said in his video that the ones that are deceiving people are the ones who don’t show their full builds and stats or just gloss over the eidolons, which can be very important for a character’s potential as many additional abilities can allow. This qualifier is important as you show everything so I don’t understand why you felt personally attacked. His point was that the takeaway for 4*-only clears should not be that 5*’s are unnecessary and 4*’s are all you need but that you need to have certain goals met to be able to do what you do and those things need to be made clear. What you showcase are viable runs with 4*-only items, not runs with all E6 4* with limited 5* light cones behind each one, which is why he says other showcases can be deceptive. It’s like saying this tiny PC can run everything but everything is actually just being run from the cloud on server-grade hardware and streamed to device while that information is not disclosed to would-be buyers of said tiny PC. In this example, you’ve been running everything locally and publicly. You were not the target of his criticism. I appreciate what you do but do make sure not to get all riled up on a misunderstanding. It can cause unnecessary tension to escalate when people only hear what they want to hear and won’t stop justifying conflict because they believe they’ve been slighted. I apologize for the long comment-it felt weird to see so many comments trying to put words in EOD’s mouth without context because they didn’t agree with points he didn’t make. It is clear that he wasn’t saying that every 4*-only clear is deceptive, just that some clears may not be in the spirit of the challenge like how people can fake Hardcore Minecraft videos.
