This helped me decide. I bought an Icon and went on my first highway ride with it and couldn't hear a thing at highway speed except wind noise even with earplugs in. I look forward to seeing how much better this new Ruroc will work. Hope to see you around the Orlando area.

For the life of me, I can’t understand how icon has such high reviews… I spent close to $500 on the soul food helmet… and I couldn’t be more disappointed. With just about everything. The plastic feels cheap, vents feel cheap, the pads are terrible.. I don’t understand it. People rave about them?!? Maybe they are getting them for free. But just about ever other helmet I have, 8 other helmets all fairly cheap.. $350 or below are much better helmets.. has anyone noticed the same this?

Nice, Brother!!! Love it man! I gotta get rid of my half shell cause I had pebbles hitting me in the face the other day while on the bike and those little jokers hurt. LOL I also want to be able to get speakers inside for music and take calls if need be.

Soo I have been thinking about buying the Shoei accolade for a few months now..Obviously ruroc has had their own issues but have heard great things about the newest model.. if you didn’t have negative vibes about who you got the Shoei from.. which helmet do you like more?

I have heard NOTHING but bad things about the Ruroc helmets. And pictures of the helmets all fucked up showing that they didn't hold up in a wreck. I just got the Shoei RF 1400 and it's amazing

It is nice hands down! Just can’t wear a helmet that came from someone out to hurt me. Other than that I would have kept it and just bought the Roruc later 🙌 but the Ruroc is very close in comfort and quality.

I can completely understand where your coming from with the intentions of the individual..has ruroc made the big of strides? Because they have a blue carbon version I love. But obviously ruroc doesn’t have the best reviews

That instrumental is Banging, what was that? by the way being as i have been living in japan for years now the Japanese on the side of the helmet says Retro in Japanese so yeah it has that retro synth wave style etc. pretty sick. oh yeah and you said you got a ML, what size is your head? thanks

The instrumental is from KZbin music. Not sure of the name of the track. Also I usually wear a large but in the Ruroc I wear a medium large. Wish I could visit Japan looks like such a cool place to live. Thank you for checking out the channel.

@@yamayari8351 thanks for the reply. i am a 59cm and it also suggested ML for me but i saw so many people complaining it was way too small so i got a L/XL hoping if i am a large the L size between ML and LXL was the same with a little space in case. i guess it is dependent on the shape of your head also. Yeah one thing nice about japan is that the Roads and Highways are super clean no cracks or pot holes etc but it should be flawless. The Highways here are pretty expensive and the farther you go the more money you pay. The train and Bus systems are the same way, so i stick to Local roads and enjoy the views lol. If you are ever in japan hit me up. thanks again.

No. The Gentleman who sold it to me had bad Juju towards me personally, so for that reason I sold it.
