In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas. If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy. Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements. Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns. 20th September, 2021. Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter). We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster? Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest. Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland. Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”. Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it. Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country. Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list. Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list. There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence). The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present. Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave. Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P. The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims). The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter. I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion. I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written. Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.

Of course, that was a big reason for their reluctance on supplying Abrams etc, I knew that already last year. But there's also the issue of loss of sensitive tech. If a Spitfire was captured by the Germans in WW2, there wouldn't have been much of a loss in terms of confidential technology - it was before the age of electronics, and also the British had many thousands of those conic aircraft. But if an advanced missile is captured with its steering electronics intact, it spills the beans on important tech that NATO doesn't want disclosed, and opens the spectre of reverse engineering them.

Azov does not run. It is a display of your limited brains. One Azov fighter is equivalent to 5 spezs from US. The Russians have a hunt for these people- as long as it takes till the last NAZI ukra. That is exactly about The Azov fightets. That is why Erdogan will not be a part of any team negotiating with the Russians as Erdogan had betrayed the Russians by the releasing the Azov fighters in 2023 captured by the Russians. And Erdogan will not be a part of the BRICS. Wait and see and it will be clear why Erdogan showed his face in Kazachstan three days ago. V. PUTIN will not be considering to fly to Turkey as the questions regarding Syria may be discussed at some occasions outside of Turkey. Once betrayed, Erdogan will do it again. He is desperate as his economy is "out of service" completely.

In my constitiuency in Birmingham, Shabana Mahmood (Labour) has easily been in power since 2010. This time she made it by the skin of her teeth, 15,558 votes - down 40%. A new independent, Akmed Yakoob (12,137 votes) almost broke through after only a few weeks campaigning. She won, but I imagine her job just got a lot more difficult.

This was the title of an article in the New York Post yesterday - "President Biden’s physician met with Parkinson’s disease specialist in White House". It went on to say - Dr. Kevin Cannard, a Parkinson’s disease expert at Walter Reed Medical Center, met with Dr. Kevin O’Connor, and two others at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17. The Washington Examiner carried a similar article which also added the reporting that Dr. Cannard visited the White House 10 separate times. Perhaps there is enough medical evidence to justify forcing him out using the 25th Amendment.

@@jacobjorgenson9285Perhaps the Biden team is pushing for Joe to withdraw from the race but serve out his remaining term. I don't think that will fly. Once the Biden team sees that the ability to oust him is there, they will likely collectively make the decision that it would be best for him to go ahead and step down. He has something like 90% of the delegates, so I suppose it would become an open convention and a power struggle would occur. This could result in a very hectic convention or maybe it will be hashed out behind the scenes somehow. It will be interesting anyway and it needs to happen pretty soon because of state ballot deadlines like Ohio coming up. They are already off the ballot in Wisconsin and Nevada unless Joe continues to run. Alexander is perfectly right that they should have for seen this possibility months ago and prepared for it. They don't know what they are doing in domestic political affairs anymore than they do in their foreign policy lol

President Abraham Lincoln and Secretary of State William H. Seward, representing the Union, met with three commissioners from the Confederacy: Vice President Alexander H. Stephens, Senator Robert M. T. Hunter, and Assistant Secretary of War John A. Campbell.

The big question in British politics right now is going to be whether or not minority parties which are breaking through power are going to use their advantage to push through electoral reforms to make the system itself more responsive and less prone to two-party domination. Will a new emerging duopoly be magnanimous and try to resist a duopoly from ever forming again, or will they rest satisfied once they're part of the next system?
