Very nice! I don't think I have ever seen a lefty play with right hand lead on the HH. I am a lefty and it is rare to see another!

Unfortunately as a kid I learned on a family member's left handed kit and it stuck (even though I'm actually right handed). Not sure what you mean by right hand lead on the HH, I play with left hand HH and right hand snare mostly, which is exact opposite of a right handed player. However I lead my fills with my right hand, which is really not efficient at all. I've managed to fake it for 20+ years, but if I were truly leading with my left hand I think it would be a lot easier... Or just played right handed... :) I have tried many times over the years and it just doesn't feel right. Anyway, yeah... it's all weird...

The point of my Rush drum vids are not to attempt to play it exactly like he did (after all, he played completely opposite to how I play), it's just how I jam to these songs for fun. :) However, in the second verse at least, he did play with 2 hands on the hats (you can see it here a bit: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4KXmZmLebtmm9E), but honestly it really isn't the point. I'm just having fun playing along to my favorite Rush songs.

I first saw it on the Grace Under Pressure tour, in 1984! Yeah, I just dated myself. :) It was on the Grace Under Pressure concert video, which you can see here on KZbin. But yeah, not the same as in person.

I'm still a pretty hard core Fan of Rush, but not a Rush "Fan Boy". Total respect the the Band for their integrity to music. I got into Audiobooks for a while, and completely away from music after Neil croaked. I know that energy that is Neil continues on, just as the rest of us do once we left go of the body (just not the weird Christian way). I listened to some other covers, before I went to Audiobooks (and the [para]normal ("Mystic Rhythms") to completely get away from music for a while. Rush has been the number one band in my life since they started producing records. I've been slowly checking around for other bands of such high quality. The lyrics and music quality just isn't there with me, for me. Then I came across The Hu. I don't understand their lyrics, and for the first time...I don't want to!! Rush's creativity, and depth helped this very dyslexic guy that still has challenges with spelling, word meanings flipping, really got into Neil and Geddy's molding of communication. So for the first time, I'm enjoy...some music without knowing what the Song is About in lyrics and I'm really, really digging that. The Hu has integrity...reminds me of Rush. Perhaps not as deep, but...the music and verbal sound is fantastic. Then, I came across this clip today 8/6/2021. Sweeeeet playing, and I'll be checking more. I adore the multi-angles. I wish I knew more people locally that enjoy Rush to the same intensity that I do. The comments below also rock! Keep going, man, keeeeeep going. Rush'N'Roll!
