Practicing is important to develop good technique but listening to lots of music, understanding what is going on, and stay humble in your quest of becoming of better musician are all important as well. Thank you! To duplicate Rush, you need to play with lots of power so this is part of the display of energy I guess. Neil used to display a lot of energy as well in the past, much more so than in the recent years.
