My 80 year old father dislocated his shoulder while he was SKIING of all things. Luckily there just happened to be an orthopedic doctor on the slopes and heard someone had been hurt and came in to help. Popped his shoulder back in right there in the ski lodge. Crazy experience. Fortunately he didn’t suffer any damage that required surgery or anything. Lived to be 97. Truly blessed.

My youngest son was in the BritishArmy, in Afganistan + He did the same thing + he had to be sent home. Once you've done it, unfortunatlly you are prone to doing it again. The doc showed him with the use of a wall how to put it back himself, but after each time he had to go to A+E to have an xray done.. Eventually he had to have the operation, with key hole. Since the op he's been fine. Love + hugs to you all. Xxx X ❤❤❤

The Easter Baskets reminded me of when my Dad used to hide my basket every Easter when I was little. Even when I was a teenager, my Mom told him I was too old for that, but he kept doing it. 😂 my Mom died November 16, 2004 and my Dad died December 1, 2023.

Pro tip: after you mix the chocolate mixture on the cereal, dump it all directly into a brown paper bag, pour your powder sugar, fold the bag down and hold tight and shake it up. You never want to put it into the fridge

You can stop wearing the sling after a few days, but it takes about 12 to 16 weeks to completely recover from a dislocated shoulder. You'll usually be able to resume most activities within two weeks. You should avoid heavy lifting and sports involving shoulder movements for between six weeks and three months.

Unfortunately once it happens it might continue to happen. My husband's would pop out going up stairs. The slightest thing & it would pop out. His rotator cuff got so damaged he had to get a "fake" ball placed in his "cuff". Hopefully you won't have to go through that especially w you being so young. Sending healing prayers your way.

I have tons of sub and full dislocations of my shoulders because of a connective tissue condition. At this point everything is so loose it like does not feel great but most of the time it does not hurt a ton. Will forever remember the PT being like yeah you mean subluxations, me moving my shoulder but it does not make the noise I talked about and she was like holy shit you just fully dislocate it. And I went like uh yeah seems that way. I know 10 years ago a PT student was shown, see this movement of the shoulder head while she is just sitting here, is absolutely not normal. That was before my diagnosis.
