I’m Spanish and my favorite tea is Принцесса Нури цейлонский чай в пакетиков с молоком или с Лемоика ( forgive my poor Russian). I love Russian culture and I feel deep in my soul that Russian culture is the embodiment of European and western culture. I greet all my russian and ucranian (basically the same lmao) brothers as fellow brethren.

Спасибо for an очень interesting talk on the subject of tea drinking in Russia. I am English and live in England and our time for tea drinking is around 4pm. We typically would invite a Russian friend to try our “English Breakfast Tea”. The name for our very common black tea that is drunk everywhere (eg Tetleys, Yorkshire tea/PG Tips are amongst a few) is always served with milk. The British are very slowly getting better at offering fruit teas or herb teas. I notice you pronounce herb as “erb” so I guess you have spent much time with Americans learning English? We call it “herbal tea” and the English always pronounce the “h” in the word “herbal”. In America they drop the h 😳.

Most irregular kinds of tea (like red/blue, flower or Asian tea) you can to find in restaurants and cities shops. Really, the most part of people believes that herbal tea with special berries, ginger, lemon and honey can to solution a little pain or give some relax. A traditional tea exists in certain republics for example: Buryatia. At there people sometimes makes salt green tea with milk and butter

чайник = kettle, not teapot заварочный чайник = teapot Another important aspect is that traditionally lots of Russian people like to drink their tea with a slice of lemon. Russian airlines offer you tea service aboard and they always ask if you want a lemon to your tea
